So I'm playing drums and I cut down from playing 6-7 days a week to 1-2 days a week(on the set I have about 4-5 hours a day with sticks and pratice pads and surfaces), anyway every saturday I wake up early and I wait to go play my set, then at 12 I'd go and play today my brother calls me up and says that the neighbors are sleeping. Alright your going to home late and get drunk wake up with a hangover, other things are going to disturb you, guys do construction across the street and have been every other month for the past 10 years. I know its a little irrational on my side too because I'm disturbing them, but they go have fun and they're going to stay in bed until like six and the one thing that I really like to do I can't even do. Not to mention I haven't hooked up with a girl in mad long and I'm getting pissed about that too. I would vent but I have a real deep feeling that none of you really care so I'll leave it at that.

On a lighter note I have a solo in A night in tunisia in the jazz band and I played it really well at my concert two nights ago

You can tell them all to get [SIZE=2]f[/SIZE]ucked. You can start playing at 10 am. I'm not sure, it may even be earlier than that.

Seriously, that is completely unacceptable. If they wanna go out and get trashed, then that's their decision and they have to face the consequences. Nobody can make you stop playing as long as it's after 10 am.

No I know them hes like my brothers best friend, but it pisses me off because I play like once a week now. They never complained before so I won't be a prick about it but it does piss me off.

Just because they are friends of the family, doesn't mean you shouldn't enforce your rights.

no. working the week before christmas at an airport restaurant blows. do you know how many people fly the week before christmas? we've been doing 2-4x the normal amount in a day's sales. normally there would be 3-4 people closing on a weeknight, now we have 7-9 people. if there's less than 7 people working at any time, the team leaders get us to call everyone who works to see if they can come in. it's chaos.
