gaslight 10-31-2004 01:10 AM

Yeah daylight saving confused me, and I ended up going to bed about midday or 2 PM, so it was more of a nap.

Tryxx 10-31-2004 01:11 AM

Why thank you, Crapdragoon!

Daylight savings time sucks...I'm in the basement and already lose track of time, now it'll be worse.

Crapdragoon 10-31-2004 01:13 AM

Beh , i have to walk to skool now, and now that its darker, i have a higher chance of getting runned over, yay

gaslight 10-31-2004 01:17 AM

Argh that sucks.

Foxfire 10-31-2004 01:23 AM

"laters, im going to go clone a quatre in the toilet and then flush him down. =-o"

ArandomBassist 10-31-2004 03:43 AM

thats kinda twisted. twisted but extremely funny

Rollo47 10-31-2004 03:44 AM

How are we all today?

Note to everyone: Do not trolley surf down large hills. My mate hit a drain, and flipped off. Concussed himself, grazed his face, cut his nose and hands open pretty bad, too.

popinfresh 10-31-2004 03:55 AM

I'm in a bit of a delema. I can either by a new cab, or new head. Cab been an SWR Goliath II. Head been a Warwick pro tube IV (Looking around for an IX).

I would like to get both.. But it means selling alot of stuff in short time.

Anyone interested (In australia preferably) in buying a warwick pro fet III head, SWR workingman's 2x10 cab or a Specialised 415 FSX bmx in perfect nick, let me know.

gaslight 10-31-2004 03:58 AM

Is that last one an amp or a bike?

popinfresh 10-31-2004 04:05 AM
Is that last one an amp or a bike?
lol, bike :p

Payed 800. I'd sell it for 450-500.

blizzard 10-31-2004 04:59 AM

how are warwick heads? I know the bassist from 28days uses warwick amps

popinfresh 10-31-2004 05:07 AM
how are warwick heads? I know the bassist from 28days uses warwick amps
Absolutely beautiful. So warm and rich, got awesome punch. Clear highs and lows. Only reason I want to upgrade is for the tube OD/sound.

blizzard 10-31-2004 05:10 AM

how much for the amp and cab then?

popinfresh 10-31-2004 05:14 AM
how much for the amp and cab then?
$1400, maybe cheaper depending how desperate i get. That's still cheap, pro fet III's are 1300, and WM's 2x10's are 1200 or so. I'd love to go cheaper, but i'd really need the money to get the next purchase.
If I sold my bike for 500, i could go cheaper on the amps.

blizzard 10-31-2004 05:18 AM

Bass equipment is so overpriced here

popinfresh 10-31-2004 05:22 AM
Bass equipment is so overpriced here
I know :(

You actually looking at buying anything? Or just wondering what i'd sell it for. If not, if you know any bassists that want gear, spread the word.

The cab and head are only about 3-4 months old as well.

blizzard 10-31-2004 05:26 AM

i would buy it but i don't have any money :upset:

maybe i can con the singer of my band to buy it. His whole family is guitar crazy, they are going to build a sound proof room for us to practise in with recording facilities and they are thinking of buying 100 watt (or over) combos for the whole band to play through when we are there. They are also going to buy a MM or Fender for me to play through.

Send him to the local store to try the comination of head cab out :p

blizzard 10-31-2004 06:06 AM

our local stores hardly stock bass gear he would have to go into the city to find any good bass gear

popinfresh 10-31-2004 06:19 AM
our local stores hardly stock bass gear he would have to go into the city to find any good bass gear
Yeah same. I always go into the city/inner suburbs to play/look at gear. 45min travel time at least. Either train or car, depends.

blizzard 10-31-2004 06:20 AM

Where abouts in Melbourne do you live?

gaslight 10-31-2004 06:21 AM

I'm lucky, I live a short drive from my local shop.

Wintermute 10-31-2004 06:23 AM

I have no local shop, but it's only a 20 minute train trip into Cardiff.
