the only funny part really in dodgeball is at the end when that guy and that thing with the unibrow go at each other with mad loving passion hahaha
im pretty sure we are all agreed on this

Drum Phil 12-23-2005 08:04 PM

That was GROSS! Not funny

PowerStamp 12-23-2005 09:44 PM

YAY!!

My band got the spot on the Bloodlined Calligraphy show!! Yay for us!
He made me promise not to book any local shows within 3 weeks at least of that so we can get a maximum draw haha
EDIT: Raz0r:
No.
It should be "Lars's Chest".

This is neat- http://webmayhem.net/drum/
actually I'm pretty sure that it is supposed to be " Lars' Chest"....Pretty sure, but as I don't know any "Grammar Check" type websites and I don't feel like getting into a grammar fight, who cares? lol
I'd spellcheck it but I only have Notepad opening (copying what video # is which video on my PSP stick haha) and it doesn't have that. Plus grammar check is wrong at least half the time.

bobby__johnny 12-23-2005 11:21 PM

A computer case
2 80mm fans for said case
2 round UV cathodes for said fans
2 12" Green lamp bars for the case.

very nice

a few games (Battlefield 1942 Anthology, Call Of Duty Anthology)

and a VERY comfy leather desk chair

i accidentally saw one of my presents. :upset:

i went into my parents' room, just to see if they're hiding the presents in their closet, which was my first guess. no intention to open them up and peek what was inside, since i used to always do that, then tried to act surprised christmas morning, which just came off as "uninterested", since i can't act at all. so i go into my parents' room, look in the closet, sure enough there's a bunch of presents. 2 piles. one for me, one of my brother. next to one of them is an acoustic guitar case. i see it but don't pay attention to it. i walk away, and about 20 seconds later it hits me: what was an acoustic guitar doing in my parents' closet? i didn't open up the case to see exactly what it is, this way i can still act fairly surprised.

d'amn you, christmas curiosity.

anyways, my arms are getting less rashy, and i only start coughing when i lay down, which is weird.

tomorrow is christmas eve dinner at the aunt's house. we do it every year, and every year it gets worse. the food is so bad, there's 2 couches and a whole lot of floor space/uncomfortable dinner chairs to fit 20 people, and a bunch of drunk scottish men talking about golf, and a bunch of women talking about the men talking about golf. i have no-one to talk to, so i just sit there in dead silence. i'm thinking about bringing my pad and sticks, could pass a bit of time.

how about you, any bad christmas "traditions" like this?

-TheGlassPrison- 12-23-2005 11:34 PM

that rudiments game rules.
Im SO printing that off on sheet music!

Panopticon 12-23-2005 11:35 PM

wouldn't say bad...but it will be bad this year...

every christmas eve we go to my aunts on my dads side and eat dinner and exchange gifts and stuff...then each one of us buys a 10 dollar gift (just random) and we play this game that i dont care to explain...and then my nonna (grandma for you non-italians)...gets stockings she made with our initials in them, she stuffed em full of underwear and socks and stuff but now we won't get them because she passed away not long ago...that was the best part of christmas, so now i just wanna skip the whole season, just sleep through the whole thing...

its not an accident if you were purposly looking for them!

Win A Rabbit 12-23-2005 11:45 PM

well i was planning to see IF the presents were in the closet, not to see WHAT presents were in the closet.

well, i got curious. i didn't ask for a single thing this year, i wanted to see how big my stack of presents was.

I want Tommy Igoe Groove Essentials...someone please buy it for me. :amaze:

rockindrummer 12-24-2005 01:05 AM

Puppet stick control is an awsome book. It has really helped improve the strength of my left hand and is just overall a great book.

BetweenTheEchoes 12-24-2005 01:29 AM

I love Johnny Bravo.

BetweenTheEchoes 12-24-2005 01:31 AM

One more thing. Don't ever smoke Turkish Silvers. That whole "smooth and mellow" bull**** is just a fancy way of saying "this stuff makes you sick."

rockindrummer 12-24-2005 01:32 AM

Has anyone noticed that mxtabs.net goes to sputnik instead?

Half Life 12-24-2005 03:55 AM

^I haven't, but it was down for the longest time. Now I just search Musicians Forums on google and MX comes right up at that top. I should just add it to favorites though. That'd be easier

...smoking anything makes you sick...

BetweenTheEchoes 12-24-2005 08:59 AM

Not true.

Pot does not normally make you sick, and neither does smoking DMT.

But yeah, tobacco is bad. Don't ever start. I wish I hadn't.

Jezen 12-24-2005 09:29 AM

That rudimental solo builder is shit. It doesn't work properly. They aren't played for a whole bar. The multiple mounce roll is like a bar and a bit. They are all at different speeds, it doesn't flow..

Even Sibelius is better.

Drum Phil 12-24-2005 09:42 AM

I ****ing hate my parents. Why bother telling me they're gonna do something when they quite clearly arent? Why spend the money they promised to use to replace my stuff thats falling apart for a pair of jeans for my sister that she'll never wear? Im ****ing sick of being second best! So yeah, im considering selling my kit and moving out

Exactly.

"Lars's" is incorrect grammar.

If you're going to try and correct someone, at least try and do it right.

No man! Just sell the Pearl cymbals to a Joey fan or his/her dumbass mother. Stick it out a little before you move out. You don't wanna be without your kit.

Drum Phil 12-24-2005 09:57 AM

Right now i just wanna be out of here.

Tim 12-24-2005 09:59 AM

LittlePound 12-24-2005 10:48 AM
