I bought the Raising Hell dvd with the magician and all that, and I noticed that during one of the magicians acts when he was going to whip a girl the music on the back was the intro riff of The Wickerman i think. And Cacophony appeared on the credits :confused:

Is that any good? It sounded interesting but I have no idea how it would be pulled off.

Its ok, good show, although i had some trouble with the audio. In the dolby 5.1 version I couldnt hear Bruce. Sometimes the Illusionist guy was a bit annoying, and the solos are kinda sloppy on some songs, but im satisfied with it.

i need a new copy of DoD, my one is now scratched to hell. it's fine until Paschendale ends, it sticks there and won't play Face In The Sand :( all the other songs are fine though.

I hate buying new versions of scratched CDs. It seems a waste. :(

i know. i may just make a copy, and keep it in the case with the original.

Yeah, I find I don't need to do that, since most of my CDs get ripped to the computer and rarely leave the cases ever again.

i rip mine, put them on my mp3 player, then listen to them most on my stereo, my mp3 player's just for in my car / on the bus / if i want music when i'm out somewhere.

Painkiller is my only Priest album, but i love it.

You should really get Stained Class and Screaming For Vengeance, but anyway this is the Maiden thread.

I am completely and utterly addicted to The Trooper. I have listened to it so much lately it's rediculous.

when Painkiller finishes i may put on Piece of Mind, such an awesome album.

my copy of Somewhere in Time has disappeared, i need to make another one.

I still need to get Somewhere In Time. It's the only album of their first 7 I don't have :(

the maiden albums i own are:
S/T, NOTB, PoM, Powerslave, FOTD, RiR, Edward the Great, DoD. although i have copies of everything except Beast over Hammersmith, Best of the Beast, and Best of the B-Sides.

I own Piece of Mind, Powerslave, 7th Son and Killers. The rest (FOTD, DOTR, DOD, BNW, NOTB, Self-Titled) I got from the local library (!).

I need those last 3 too.
Although Ash uploaded alot of random stuff a while ago.

i don't even know if the library here does cds, i stopped going years ago because it was crap.

I've quite a few other albums from their too. Priest, Nile, Opeth, Emperor, Death, Obituary among others.

so you literally borrow albums from there, and keep them for as long as you like? or do you just borrow them and copy them?

Adrian was in to sing a backing vocal along with Steve, and Wing Commander Biggles was in Wednesday for two lead vocals - before I had to rush to the airport to get a late night flight to Rome - for the Easter break. Actually, I am using 90% of Bruce's original tracking vocals, which have have their own unique spirit when he sings live with the band. I'm just using the new vocals for an occasional lyric mix-up or a melody change, but they're basically his live takes! And that's not me being lazy, I fully expected to use more of the redone vocals, but the live ones are killer!

And that's it....... I feel energized from the Easter break, I have to confess I was shattered by Wednesday night, but am back up to speed and chomping at the bit to get back to the studio today - I write this on an early morning Alitalia flight from Rome to Heathrow somewhere over snow-capped Alps, and once I grab the Heathrow Express, I should be in the studio by 10am, and back to work by 10.01.

And that's really all there is to say - take care - Up The Irons!

:lol: i heard one of those last week. It was so unlike Maiden it was unbelieveable.

The most annoying thing is that I know the release date will be later for the US. I can't wait :(.
