I have a few records by them but I also havent listened to them.:(
the weird thing is...one time my grandpa came over, and was looking through my record collection. and he was like "oh three dog night, they made some great music." i was wondering why he commented on them, when i have hundreds of other albums by much better known, and mostly likely more talented bands/artists. |
YOU SHOULD!
What do they sound like? I have only heard a song or two. |
/adds some Steppenwolf
|
/adds some Steppenwolf
there's a good man! may i suggest some jethro tull, while i believe badmoon tried to suggest some grateful dead. |
I hate to point out the blaringly obvious, but the best way to find out what they sound like is to listen to them.
|
also some George Harrison and John Lennon
|
Jeff Healey.
Not really classic rock, but good ;). edit: and The Doors. Seriously, The Doors, man. |
But I guess you could say they have sort of an electric organ sound that has a neat oldies sort of "hollow" (not in a bad way) psychadelic sound. That's the best description I can give, as bad as it may be, addmitedly I haven't heard as much from them as I'd like.

hahaha its funny how everyones "trademark" band is suggested to him.
Schyma000: Listen to Roy Harper! (he didn't actually say that, but im sure he will if he's around) |

Already have all them. No, I said it before, it's "I've waited to long to check out some really good classic rock, I need to now" day. And thanks for all the suggestions. Everything on this page that was suggested is currently on my download list. |
tonight i was listening to Lennons "Imagine" album as i was doing homework. I noticed his solo stuff sounds more like The Beatles, than the other members solo stuff did. Anyone else agree with me on that..or is it just in my head?
I really like the last song off of that album, i forget what it's called though. |

Geroge Harrison - Any Road
Probably my 2nd favorite song ever. |
Jeff Healey and The Doors too? :):):)
The Doors: currently downloading Jeff Healey: currently finding on Soulseek  I'd rep you, like I did everyone else who mentioned bands, but "I must spread the love before giving it to you again". |
Like every one eh?
|
Did Clapton have a lot of solo albums? i've never really looked much into his solo career, and i only own his Slowhand record. Which ones are his best?
when i was shopping yesterday, there were a lot of Clapton greatest hits cds, and i noticed the vast majority of the songs weren't from his solo career. |

Jeff Healey isn't my favorite band. Not even in the top 10. But it's the mullet that keeps him as my avatar.
Well, and also he kicks ***. But ya know... I don't really have a trademark band. livewired, you would be Neil Young. I can't beat you when it comes to neil youngness. |
:thumb:
you forgot one....Livewired: Neil Young. am i right?
Yeah.:) RocknotRoll:it doesnt have to be your favourite. It is just a trademark of yours. |
ya Rock doens't push Jeff Healy on us as much as some would think. He actually rarely mentions him, unless he's suggesting music.
i'm in a good mood today, so i'm gonna give out rep to you fine gentlemen. do you just click on the little button and it gives the person points? |
I'm glad to see no one knows my trademark....
|
I dont have a trademark band, it's awesome. I have a new obsession every week.
|
guitrguy you seem like the beatles/their solo careers type of guy.
but you are actually quite mysterious when i think about it. |
I dont have a trademark band, it's awesome. I have a new obsession every week.
Pfft. Your just a poser. |
Geroge Harrison - Any Road
Probably my 2nd favorite song ever.
Yeah that's one of my faves too, a very different style for George but one hell of a song. Actually that's a really good CD (Brainwashed) for being kind of thrown together in the end. |
