It's very similar but with a few position differences.
i think i will stay with the GP-tab. |
i play everything in e-standard :(
i think i will stay with the GP-tab.
and yee shall be cursed into a firey hell...... LOL! Nile in EADGBE? That'll be funny! Dude just go to DADGBE and it works. |
i know its sound funny in EADGBE ... it sounds so "optimistic", but most of the things i practise is in e-standard and i'm to lazy to tune my guitar only for one song... i will do this when i will buy my second guitar this summer... my jackson DXMG :D |

Thus why my Ibanez pwns. |
I hate Floyd Rose. It's an absolute chore changing strings. I never touch my Jackson DKMG.
|
@FuryInArt: do you have the Jackson DXMG?
@I'm Charming: what guitar do you play? @IAmTheBlackWizard: it depends if you know how to change... when you know how, it takes you not longe than 10-15min to change the tune on a floyd rose |

I got rid of my Jackson JS30DK. Got the Ibanez. Love it. Sounds way better overdrive & clear as well . |

It's getting it back in tune and keeping it there after changing them that always gives me troubles. |
as far as i know the Jackson JS30 is a very cheap guitar ....
It's not the actual changing of the strings that's the problem.
as far as i know the Jackson JS30 is a very cheap guitar ....
No. Not really. It plays great & sounds great. FR is just a bitch. |
:D /can put Floyd Rose guitar in any tuning in under 2mins.
Todays it's been in EADGBE DGCFAD DADGBE later, it'll be in Drop A. |
Tuning takes a long time with a FL, but it's worth it. Once you get it tuned and locked it never goes out of tune. I love my Jacksons.
:D /can put Floyd Rose guitar in any tuning in under 2mins. Todays it's been in EADGBE DGCFAD DADGBE later, it'll be in Drop A.
Wow, you're a real badass. |
@FuryInArt: do you have the Jackson DXMG?
Nope, I decided to go with a Schecter instead, because I thought it was more versatile. I played around with the DXMG for a long time at the local guitar store, though, and the only reason I didn't buy it is because it's only good for metal. I play Metal, Rock, Alternative, Jazz, and the like, so I needed something that could bridge genres well. Jacksons are pure excellence if all you're going to playing is metal, though. |

EDIT: Mine was Dark Blue ish though. That's what I had. To Wizard: I have an Ibanez RG Series now and I love it. |
That's probably the cheapest guitar Jackson makes.
|

I've seen many cheaper actually. I've seen several models within the 99-150 range. |

Yes he does. He's jesus with guitars. |

Right now I'm actually using a 67 Gibson V. I've been playing alot of stuff that demands both a good acoustic sound and a good metal sound, plus a good clean-distorted sound, and I've found that this guitar is near perfect for that.
|
If all you're playing is metal, I'd go for the Jackson. Personally, I can't stand Ibanez, but everyone else seems to love them.
|
I'm serious. They actually weren't that bad. :p JS30's aren't bad guitars. ftr |

I'm probably going to get an Ibanez 6 string bass sometime over the summer. I'm much better at bass than guitar  . |

Most likely because Ibanez own you. |
BEADGBE ftw
|
a friend is a ibanez fanatic - for him ibanez is the best guitar-brand in the world. when i started playing guitar he was the one who gave my tips and thats why i bought an ibanez. its good to start with, but i will never again buy an ibanez ... i just don't like the models - and the only models that i like are the prestige series who are too expensive :p
BEADGBE ftw
^^ 7 String fanboy alert |
Josh, leave your pointless 7-string JP wankery out of this thread and leave the conversation to the real guitarists.
Most likely because Ibanez own you.
lol @ u |
