You guys know there's a sports forum right?
I don't dare venture into other forums.

Besides, this is the community forum, and Deth started it.

guitrguy: Have you SEEN him play? He's a complete wreck.

Some guys are great in college, but simply can't hack it in the NFL. It's just the way it is.

Tyler 12-02-2007 09:52 PM

It just gets really irritating coming in here all the time and seeing huge lame discussions on college football. I understand it's a community thread and all but it gets a little ridiculous.

Invicta_Veritas 12-02-2007 09:53 PM

So what would you like to discuss?

Tyler 12-02-2007 09:55 PM

I dont know, I've been awake for 30 hours and I'm going to bed shortly, I just wanted to make sure you guys knew of the Sports forum since I'm sure it's a little heftier than four people talking in circles.

Deth 12-02-2007 09:55 PM
Matt Twardzik is from PSU
Cept you dropped out already.
We all kinda figured that. Nearly every Oakland fan wanted them to put in Tuiasosopo, but they stuck with that retard and ended up trading Tui after the season. What a waste.

I'm glad they are finally playing Russell though. He's a good player, and he's wated long enough.

Note: Nearly every QB from ASU has turned out to be a flop.

See: Jake Plummer, Matt Lienhart, Andrew Walter.
Jake Plummer was totally a starter for like ten years, and Leinart has been in the league for like two years. But yeah Andrew Walter was lol.

Well, that's how I get when you guys talk about drugs/sex/porn/tr00gr1m/etc. all the time in here :(

Besides, the NCAA discussion will usually only last a Saturday, maybe into a Sunday with the NFL. The reason why it's so bad right now is because all the title games are over with and the BCS had a royal meltdown. Now that it's time to go bowling, it won't be as dominant.

Cept I'm registered again already.

But I'm only taking two courses this semester because my mom is gay (practical knowing my study habits).

Plummer did next to nothing for Denver, and they finally canned him (as far as the starting job goes)...

As far as Lienhart goes, he's too shaky, even for a second year QB. Good QBs take the opportunity by the horns. Lienhart plays too nervously.

Deth 12-02-2007 10:03 PM

It's understandable after Leinert's O-line caused him to hit the ground every other play.

You didn't have a problem when the Raptors were getting discussed.

I don't complain when the drug talk goes on for days at a time, stop being a bitch.

Tyler 12-02-2007 10:04 PM
You didn't have a problem when the Raptors were getting discussed.
That was like three or four posts though, this goes on for pages at at a time.

Calling either of them busts is pretty ridic. Plummer was a decent starting qb, and was getting better until his last season where he collapsed. Leinart has shown flashes, I think making him mix it up with Warner was just a bad idea.

Hey, let's overrule what the community wants to talk about in favor of what Coke wants to talk about guys.

gmoneyguy 12-02-2007 10:07 PM

Naw I'm good.

Let's take my posts totally seriously when I'm just trying to find a way to get into the conversation.

Iluvatar 12-02-2007 10:08 PM

Start watching american sports then CANADIAN

Invicta_Veritas 12-02-2007 10:10 PM

Tyler, the only solution to your problem is to become a Raiders fan.
Let's take my posts totally seriously when I'm just trying to find a way to get into the conversation.
wtf are you talking about now? I took your post for what it was.

In half an hour another topic will arise, I don't understand why people complain about what's being discussed when it all changes so quickly anyway.

And traffic is incredibly high in this thread right now, accounting for a lot of that.

gmoneyguy 12-02-2007 10:11 PM

BRA: I've seen him play, and get sacked A LOT.

Tyler 12-02-2007 10:12 PM
Tyler, the only solution to your problem is to become a Raiders fan.
You couldn't pay me to sit through an entire football game. I'd rather organize grains of rice in ascending size.

Invicta_Veritas 12-02-2007 10:12 PM

guitrguy: IMO, only half of that is the OL's fault.

Tyler: Oh, come on, it's not that bad.

gmoneyguy 12-02-2007 10:14 PM

Next season will be a defining season for him. If he can't get it together, then yeah.

big80smullet 12-02-2007 10:16 PM

Football is gay. play a real mans sport like aussie rules. The only game in the world where a man can get his face trodden on. while he's standing up.

Tyler 12-02-2007 10:17 PM

Aussie Rules is so fun.
Tyler: Oh, come on, it's not that bad.
It's fine to play but watching it puts me to sleep. I dont have enough of an interest in the plays or more technical aspects of it, so its only saving grace for me goes right out the window.

big80smullet 12-02-2007 10:19 PM

yes it is! i like the short shorts.

I have yet to actually sit down and watch an episode.

Aakon_Keetreh 12-02-2007 10:30 PM

Its pretty good. I suggest that you do. Special type of humor though.

Tyler 12-02-2007 10:31 PM

I remember at my first high school, our gym teacher had us play Aussie Rules and we had to stop because of all the injuries. His brother or cousin was in town (Australian) and he taught us to play. It was pretty manly.

AA-12 12-02-2007 10:31 PM

The American version is great, the British version not so much.

Deth 12-02-2007 10:33 PM

Switch that and you have my opinion.

Aakon_Keetreh 12-02-2007 10:34 PM

I have not seen the british version yet.

Angmar 12-02-2007 10:36 PM

American version does rule, I have not seen the British either.

Steerpike 12-02-2007 10:38 PM

Remember how I said Lovecraft and sleep wasn't a good combination? Turns out dinner wasn't either. My stomach is shot.

Aakon_Keetreh 12-02-2007 10:38 PM

I think one of the funniest ones is when Dwight has to say a speech for there company and Jim gives him a Mussolini Speech for practice.

masterchaos 12-02-2007 10:39 PM

Deth...your name is aptly suited for our Miami Dolphins.

gmoneyguy 12-02-2007 10:39 PM

rofl, the dolphins epitomize suck this year. I'm glad my Rams have won a few games.

Aakon_Keetreh 12-02-2007 10:42 PM
