a few friends of mine perform on the streets some days. i got asked to go a couple of times, but i haven't yet. i think it'd be fun, though. i may go next time they ask. gotta wait till winter is over, and it's atleast bearable outside. then again, we've been having a relatively warm winter compared to the usual.

We've had an unusually warm winter, too.
Today it was 52 out, last friday it was 62. It's insane to see people strolling by in shorts in the dead of winter in Buffalo.
We're notorious for crappy winters.

our good winters are around -10 celsius for an average. we usually keep up the +5 weather up until a week or two before christmas, when it goes down to -30 or lower. it stays there for a while, warms up back to above zero in february, then goes back down to -30 for another month or so. but so far, we've only been down to -20 for like 4 days. other than that, -10's the lowest it's been.

Is it an actual prison?

well my friends just left to see underworld 2, whatever the full title is. it looks even more boring than the first, seeing as the first barely had a storyline, and the commercials for this one are just random crap that a mindless idiot would enjoy watching. so in other words, looks like i'm staying home tonight.

i think i may quit my job right away, since the boss is being a big dick and cutting everyone's hours down. i had the perfect schedule for a few weeks, and now he's giving me and my friends the worst, most random schedule, just to fill in spots, seeing as we're the newest there. i went from 20+ hours a week to 11-15. and they're all over the place, most of which are very unconvenient, ride-wise. alot of people are quitting though, since they can no longer afford to work there, due to a huge cut in full-time staff's hours. maybe that'll open up some more slots for me.

chances are he was only giving you lots of hours because he needed you trained quickly. it happens at my work all the time, they give you solid hours then they cut you back. seniority has the right to better hours...the company wont make as much money if they have people who arent as solid on counter, or making drinks.

it costs alot to train someone..even if your not in training, someone whos been there for a year will still most likely get the job done better, faster, and more efficiently.
