I dunno to me it sounds like a very standard snare, maybe it's not like AMAZING but it's no Lykathea Aflame that's for sure.

christicide's snare drum isn't even really annoying, man. /shrug

also, that one drudkh album you listened to is the only one with a shitty snare sound.

Anyone heard Stuttoff? I just got Towards the Astral Path and I don't know what to think about it. The production is string thin - there's, like, absolutely no bass and it sounds like I'm listening to it through a broken headset. The music itself is pretty generic, but the vocals are interesting I guess.

Opinions on these guys?

Never heard of them, album title suggests symphonic black metal or at least some sort of atmospheric attempt.

Listening to Inquisition for the first time in awhile, forgot how much these guys slay.

Listening to Faustcoven - The Halo Of Burning Wings. Not bad.

Yeah, that album is pretty decent.

I'm a big fan of the style, the first-wave, thrashy riffs, doomy mood thing.

I felt the album would grow on me after a while, but it never got to that "really good" level.

With that said, I've only listened to it a handful of times.
