Man... I love how they have it to where they have the synth (I think) do a bend and then turn down, and then the guitar does the same thing. It gives a feeling to where it's like it's swaying sort of. They did it on some other parts of the album also.

Yeah tool are good they have some ok lyrics sometimes but they need to bring out more cds it is pretty lame bringing out a cd every 5 years. Justin timberlake could bring out like 5 in that time and he wouldnt even need to try much

Never... EVER compare them to Justin Timberlake. That was pretty much the stupidest thing ever. And they have side projects, so be patient.

And they keep themselves busy for the most part. Especially with Maynard being a whore and everything. But they take their time with their albums. And god are they worth it when they do come out.

I dont think so sir, Maynard has said many times tool is just a side project for songs he has writtin that billy rejects. Tool is the bottom of the barrel apc stuff

The wait in between CDs is pretty immaterial, I don't know why people even consider it. You have bands that can release great material every 1, 2, or 3 years, but then people who release great material every 5 or 6 years. It's different creative styles. Stephen King once wrote something about how some authors could write so much in so little time, while other authors would take ten years, but each produced amazing material. Creativity isn't a faucet, people!!!

Also, while it is kind of annoying that the band takes hiatuses, it's a good thing, because it gives them a chance to work with other musicians and continue challenging themselves. IF they only worked with one another all the time, they'd slip into a musical comfort zone and not continue to challenge themselves musically, and the music would become boring. I think that is why a lot of bands go to crap after a couple albums.

Just for the record I was joking, Tool are possibly the greatest band around today if not the greatest band ever. The fact that they release a CD every 5 or whatever years makes there music that much better, you know not a thing has been rushed on the CD and they have just used there time to make it amazing. Also it means you get a big wait so when you get the CD it's just that much better, it's like heroin in CD form.

You'll find here that were not like typical Tool fanboys (if you can call us that). We all just love Tool, but we all see their faults. If you were on like the bored at Tool shed or something, then you'd get a hostile responce.

He also helps with some songs like I said. But alot of the times it's weird instruments he works with.
