I've heard Rush's cover of Seven and Seven is, but never heard the original. I'll have to ckeck them out.

the 30 seconds of My Little Red Book was pretty good ;). I might check into an album of theirs some time.

I liked those sound clips, I might check out Forever Changes.

My mum got me an Eric Clapton and the Yardbirds box set thing but I am not allowed to isten to it until christmas so I share your pain

Gilmour got me Houses of the Holy, same as every one else I can't listen to it until xmas.
