jpj 12-19-2004 02:34 PM

Yea I don't know how either.

BludgeonySteve 12-19-2004 03:00 PM

I just noticed that The Tragically Hip's "New Orleans Is Sinking" is very simalar to The Eagles's "Life In The Fast Lane".

But i'm not going to accuse anyone ;)

My post about my random thoughts which are very off topic is over. Resume your discussion.

Ok,
try and get "Alone again or" "7 & 7 Is" or "My little Red Book"
They're such an awesome band,
I dunno if there's a "www.love.com" though.

IAJP 12-19-2004 04:29 PM

That should keep you going for a bit, all in all they're a pretty impressive band, I think you'd like them a lot.

jpj 12-19-2004 04:31 PM

I've heard Rush's cover of Seven and Seven is, but never heard the original. I'll have to ckeck them out.

BludgeonySteve 12-19-2004 04:33 PM

the 30 seconds of My Little Red Book was pretty good ;). I might check into an album of theirs some time.

jpj 12-19-2004 04:39 PM

I liked those sound clips, I might check out Forever Changes.

IAJP 12-19-2004 04:39 PM

My little red book was written by burt bacherach.
:amaze:
(If you get an album of theirs, get forever changes, if you like it go for love)

gmoneyguy 12-19-2004 04:40 PM

They are good! I downloaded a bunch of them.

IAJP 12-19-2004 04:42 PM

Exactly,
It's hard to see how a band who write songs like "Alone again or" can remain unheard of, t'is a crime against humanity.

gmoneyguy 12-19-2004 04:44 PM

Have you all heard of Gary O'Sullivan?

IAJP 12-19-2004 04:45 PM
Have you all heard of Gary O'Sullivan?
Give me some band names or songs etc..

gmoneyguy 12-19-2004 04:46 PM

The only one I know of is "all alone again". I would like to get more into him but, Raphsody doesn't carry his music.

weird..
how come?
(And for another good selection of Love songs, "A house is not a motel" "the red telephone" "the good humour man, he sees everything like this")

gmoneyguy 12-19-2004 04:51 PM

They only carry songs that the artist and/or the record companies allow them to carry.
