Clutch were amazing last night. The Fall of Tory were great too. Coheed sounded like crap though compared to the last time i saw them. then they decided to do a 30 minute encore of just jazz solos that got really annoying. even Chris Pennie's drum solo was kind of boring

pixiesfanyo 11-11-2007 01:45 PM
even Chris Pennie's drum solo was kind of boring
I don't believe that.

Glitterati 11-11-2007 01:53 PM

Coheed is kind of sucky in general :x

pulseczar 11-11-2007 01:58 PM

a boring drum solo wow it must have really been an off night for them

jrowa001 11-11-2007 02:05 PM

yeah, Pennie couldve done something much more techincal or crazy that we wouldve seen at a DEP show, but he kind of just played a faster version of a coheed song. it mightve been boring just because it was during the last 5 minutes after the 30 minute guitar solos

Glitterati 11-11-2007 02:07 PM

You should have gotten a suit of tinfoil and went to a Fatboy Slim concert.

jrowa001 11-11-2007 02:15 PM

Coheed also had two chicks singing along in every song which conflicted badly with Claudios voice

Shattered_Future 11-11-2007 03:07 PM

You mean Claudio cloned himself and sang along with himself?

RX Bandits, on the other hand, were absolutely fantastic. Sounded so much better live than they do on record, which is kinda ironic considering they record all their stuff live. Their drummer is an absolute machine.

TojesDolan 11-11-2007 03:13 PM

I like what I've heard of RX bandits.

Shattered_Future 11-11-2007 03:53 PM

TojesDolan 11-11-2007 03:56 PM

All right, time to gravity bong it up.

Damn, that **** hit hard.

Tyler 11-11-2007 04:57 PM

Man, I love this movie. Late 60s sci-fi is awesome and hilarious, especially when the plot is about a broad that just goes from planet to planet sleeping with people.
After an in-flight anti-gravity striptease (masked by the film's opening titles), Barbarella (Jane Fonda), a 41st century astronaut, lands on the planet Lythion and sets out to find the evil Durand Durand in the city of Sogo, where a new sin is invented every hour. There, she encounters such objects as the Exessive Machine, a genuine sex organ on which an accomplished artist of the keyboard, in this case, Durand Durand himself, can drive a victim to death by pleasure, a lesbian queen who, in her dream chamber, can make her fantasies take form, and a group of ladies smoking a giant hookah which, via a poor victim struggling in its glass globe, dispenses Essence of Man. You can't help but be impressed by the special effects crew and the various ways that were found to tear off what few clothes our heroine seemed to possess.
