20 percent!?!? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? That would save me../does math

Lets say 6 cds a month at an average of 12 bucks. 72 bucks a month.

Let's say I work there for 3 months during the summer.

216 bucks saved that I can spend on new recording software, gas, or maybe just more cds.

If I worked there for a year, that would be about 850 bucks. Money out the ying yang.
the thread that you, TMS, and myself have turned into our little e-threesome.

If someone's allergic to cheese, why are they eating at Taco Bell?
my mom likes tacos ok???

but not with cheese because she can't eat it so she reminds the idiots at the drive-thru five thousand times to not put cheese on it but they do anyway

I walked right into that one, didn't I? That's the first time in a long time I've gotten pwned.

Anyway, you go check out the uploads too. I put a lot of time into getting all those up.
Uh.. shut up?

Chris - I actually have a lot of friends that work at like bookstores/retail CD stores like Barnes and Noble, Sam Goody, FYE, etc.. they said they don't get that much of a discount (like 20% or something), but it's a real easy job that pays over min wage.
Sounds good to me. I'll have to check it out later this week.

Dr. Jake Destructo 06-28-2005 11:02 PM

YDload-Is she lactose intolerant?

That sucks. Milk is the God of all liquids.

ATM 06-28-2005 11:03 PM

Beer is the nectar of the gods.

Nah.

20% is a lot, that's what I get at the grocery store. Saves a ton of money. That is food and not CDs though.

lunch998 06-28-2005 11:04 PM

Well, technically water would be the God of all liquids.

But I was about to say something about beer too.

Dr. Jake Destructo 06-28-2005 11:05 PM

I get no discount when I buy my hay bales.

wtf@my faggot employer*??

*dad :upset:

Vince- What kind of grocery store do you work at? Is it a chain like Safeway or just a locally owned type of deal?

Beer and iced tea = God of all liquids

Hell yeah, I pwned Steerpike!

Another high point of tonight: I got a beer at a restaraunt...me and my stepdad stopped at Cornwall's (a bar/grill near Fenway) before the game, and the waitress came to us and asked us what we wanted to drink. My stepdad ordered a Guinness. I said, "I'll have a Coke" and she was like, "A Corona?" (she must have thought I said it) so I replied, "Yeah". Then without a hitch I got it. Didn't even get carded

Milk=God of all non-alcohol and non-cloud-forming liquids

There, that excludes beer and water.

Ray- I don't really buy bales of hay, man...hehe

magicbus 06-28-2005 11:12 PM

Ray, did your stepdad do anything about the beer?

I am tired as hell guys.

NP: Rolling Stones - Country Honk

Illmatic 06-28-2005 11:14 PM
Ray, did your stepdad do anything about the beer?
Nope...he let me drink it ("You're in college, Ray, so you've probably drank before" is what he told me)

Also, since he plays pickup hockey with one of the beer guys, he got free beer all night. I had to drive home.

Dr. Jake Destructo 06-28-2005 11:18 PM

Did you get a lime? Corona is only suitable with lime, man.

Illmatic 06-28-2005 11:19 PM
Did you get a lime? Corona is only suitable with lime, man.
No lime.
YDload-Is she lactose intolerant?

No, she can drink milk and eat yogurt though  But my mom gets headaches from chocolate, peanut butter, Coca-Cola, cheese, fresh bread, and probably a lot of other things.

If she wasn't allergic to so many foods, she would weigh 500 pounds like the mom in "What's Eating Gilbert Grape?" and then she would die and my family would have to set fire to our house with her body still in it :(

Dr. Jake Destructo 06-28-2005 11:26 PM

FRESH BREAD??!?! That's a pretty random list of stuff. How bad of a headache though? LIke a migraine, or just a typical headache?

Migraines I guess, but chocolate causes the worst of them I think.

On her deathbed, my mom is going to eat like an entire chocolate cake. Then her brain will explode probably :(

lunch998 06-28-2005 11:31 PM

That is the oddest assortment of food to be allergic to I've ever seen.

Beer is really good, I wish I had one right now.

6,000 woot!

I knew it! I knew it! I knew that little rash wouldn't be gone for long.

I can't believe I missed it, too.

Dr. Jake Destructo 06-28-2005 11:35 PM

Woohoo for Lunch!

/taps keg

:confetti:

Well, YDload, I don't really know how much her allergies effect you personally, but either way, I have empathy for your mom because I've been known to have a few wicked headaches in my day. :-/

G'night guys. I'm off to bed.

lunch998 06-28-2005 11:38 PM

Kegger for 6k, woohoo!

/gets smashed beyond belief.

So, who here (that drinks) plays beer pong?

Illmatic 06-28-2005 11:39 PM

I've played it a bunch of times...I'm in college, so basically I've played it way too many times to actually want to play it anymore.

lunch998 06-28-2005 11:40 PM

I hadn't played in such a long time, but finally played again the other night at a party. I dominated, even when I'm drunk I can shoot well.

Doing it too much would definitely get old though.

Other favorite drinking games: Kings, Crazy 8's, Flip Cup.

ATM 06-28-2005 11:43 PM

I love Kings.

Drinking Pool is fun, too.
