Yeah... I can get my crash/rides to sound kinda crashy if I hit right on the edge, but I don't like doing that cause if I miss and hit the actual edge-edge (not right beside it) I could damage the cymbal.

All of my cymbals are vintage Zildjians, with the exception of a Wuhan.
