I landed on a plane in Philadelphia a day and a half before it hit. I messed up my scheduling of the flight too and I'm gonna have to take a makeup physics final when I get back. If I hadn't messed up, I probably would've gotten stranded in Phoenix waiting for my connection to Philly....for 48 hours.

well really, tapes aren't the new vinyl but they definitely more rare.

my love affair with tapes ended the day I got a Discman, again -- **** that noise.
All those people who shoved their [I]old skool[/I] tapes in my face, I just handed 'Loveless' on vinyl and they promptly shut up

and yes, they certainly are more rare, so worth collecting for nostalgia/$$'s sake

I had to get somebody to help me or I'd end up playing the wrong song and probably starting it like halfway through and playing it at the wrong speed.

Never used a record player or a record in my life. I got a portable cd player when I was a kid and went digital a few years later. Never lookin' back.
