I was sending that message from both of us. We needed one more to put it away. JPJ came and made the play after we fought long and hard.

It gets serious when someone threatens to get emo. :p

So, I've been listening to Tommy a lot recently. It's amazing. Discuss.

Distant Echoes 02-03-2005 08:34 PM

You should better then to post in any n00b threads relating to
a)led zeppelin
b)ac/dc
c)aerosmith (though rare)

My generation is probably the next album im gonna get, though i have a ton of who as it is, and pick up 3 more rush albums yesterday (all live). I totally organized all my songs, and have a complete list in alphabetical order on Microsoft Word, and on Realone, took me all day.

And i heard the Who is making a new album...any one hear about this, or when a realease date is expected

I love the part where it's like "Go to the mirror boy" and the Moon comes in with the drums, then "go to the mirror boy" and drums again.

Distant Echoes 02-03-2005 08:39 PM

Nice avator Johnny, Rep++

but yeah, i love tommy, but many of the Whos albums are better, especially Quadrophenia, which got publicity taken from since tommy was the true 'first' rock opera. I made a reaview for it, but i dont know where to post...the CD review section is all weird and mx said he was makin a new site (that didnt work) or somethin....what the hell do i do!?

Yea, it's unfortunate that the Woodstock gig wasn't great for them. It's amazing on the Live at Leeds deluxe edition though.

Kurtz 02-03-2005 08:40 PM

So I'm kind of getting into Emerson, Lake, and Palmer. I heard a song from this classic rock station here, it sounded a little electronic, a lot of keyboards. I loved it.

Anyone have any recommendations?

Badmoon 02-03-2005 08:41 PM

Crosby, I have the links to the mp3's for you. So IM me.

thickasabrick 02-03-2005 08:41 PM

What do you guys think is the best psychadelic album?

Disraeli Gears, Mr. Fantasy in addition to the ones JPJ said.

Their album Trilogy is great. The Endless Enigma is a great song, very long. It's split up into two parts on the album. Great keyboards/piano. They were pioneers of the MOOG synthesizer.

edit- I suppose I should use more than "great" to describe everything.

Pictures at an Exhibit is what I think the album is called, I'm too lazy to check, but it's really good

I don't think very much tops Tommy. Maybe I give it an unfair edge because it was my favorite album when I was little, but still.

I don't like being a part of this whole Dead revolution. I was a fan before they became cool here.

When did grateful dead end and the dead begin? I can never keep track of that
I don't like being a part of this whole Dead revolution. I was a fan before they became cool here.
If you don't like it, leave. I basically started this revolt, and I'm sticking with it!
