I'm sorry!

I never listen to the lyrics, they're like the least important part of the song to me. A song could be about pancakes, but if the music is good I'd like it.

thickasabrick 12-19-2004 12:41 PM

were you guys saying The Alan Parson Project sounded a lot like Floyd?

because if so, it may be because Alan Parson was the studio engineer (or something like that) for some of Floyds albums. I think he was for DSOTM, he helped create some of those cool sounds. I have one of The AP Project's albums, but i haven't listened to it yet. I think it's got like a big egyptian eye on it.

jpj 12-19-2004 12:43 PM

Yea that's one of the ones I have, I've been meaning to listen to it just haven't gotten around to it.

Woodstock 12-19-2004 12:45 PM

I'm not sure which APP I have.

RockAndRoll 12-19-2004 12:45 PM

that the band song is a good song.

We've had snow here for a while now. Yesterday I was skitching behind a car just in my shoes because the road was so slippery. T'was fun.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 12-19-2004 12:46 PM

I have a few as well from the 700 Cds my dad got.

thickasabrick 12-19-2004 12:48 PM

last night me and two of my friends went to this party, and we went there, and it was a bunch of like clean cut guys who werent even talking to eachother. they were just sitting there staring at the floor, slowly drinking lite beers. the music was so horrible, after about ten minutes i started laughing at it, and they all glared at me (still not talking) and my other two friends burst out laughing.
this is the strange part: all three of us got up and ran out the door at the same time! when we got outside we were all like "dude i was just going to run out and ditch you other two cuz that music was so bad." the music was too bad for us all to bear.

so we went back to his SUV and sat in the back, with his huge sound system surrounding us and we listened to DSOTM. it was heaven.

whats the best album you guys have listened to lately?

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 12-19-2004 12:50 PM

That party must have sucked. I mean bad music and no weed.

thickasabrick 12-19-2004 12:53 PM
That party must have sucked. I mean bad music and no weed.
well we had smoked a lot before we got in there, so we were doing pretty well, but the music was like guys singing destiny's child songs or something. we asked if we could light up there, and everyone glared at us and said no. thats about when we ran.

but you didn't answer my question.

jpj 12-19-2004 12:54 PM

The last album I listened was Blues Traveler-Four, and I loved it.
