Get powertab.
That's the first important step. |
Get powertab.
That's the first important step.
I have powertab and guitar pro , but i dont know how to plug my bass into my cpu . BTW - Has anyone looked at the tab i made for my line |
Plugging your bass in will not help exporting to MIDI.
If you want MIDI, type your tab into Powertab. Then: File > Export > MIDI File |
Err not midi. But Someone told me that theres w ay to plug my bass into my cpu and then what i play will apear in tab form. Or somthing like like.
|
You said midi...
No, there's no way of doing that that I am aware of. There is no way your computer could tell, for instance, whether you were playing the G string open, or the D string 5th Fret, or the A string 10th fret, etc. To the computer, it's just G. |
****it. Im possitive thought , because this guy said he didnt have a mic so he just "plugged in his guitar" to powertab and it tabbed what he played
|
Nope... not with the powertab I have.
I just did a quick run through all the options and help topics and there's nothing on it. Plus there's the aforementioned 'wouldn't work' thing. |
Screw it , ill just tab it on GP. Ill put the file up when im done.
|
Hello guys.
|
I think that it would be possible .. but not with a program like power tab. ANd you would probably need piezo pickups.
:amaze: |
Ok, with Piezos it would work, but you'd need a different output system on the bass as well - by necessity individual string piezo output is merged together when it leaves the bass.
|
Good point ...

Okay here it is . I dosnt sound the way i want to , I had to re make the rythm because I couldnt get the beat i wnated on GP. ANy ways tell me what you think
|
That's really nice, actually. I found myself playing along.
|
BTW Alex , hows your dean treating you?
|
Really well.
I'm getting used to it fast. The tones are warm and deep, but can become razor sharp at the twist of a dial. The neck is surprisingly fast for its size (7.4cm across at the 12th fret) At some point I'm going to have to destring it and give the trussrod a little tweak, but not right now. |
oh i see how it is, no hi's back :upset:

Hmm... 16, eh...
We shall have to make a go of converting you to beer. I mean real beer. Lager is not beer. Lager is urine. But some of the local breweries round here make some of the best ales around. Fully legal if you come back to my house for it! Edit: w00t - post 4500! |
^ I don't drink, but I think I might break my edge. It's way too scene now, and I'll just drink it to kick back and relax with my buddies, not to get "****faced" or because it's cool.
:thumb: -Gav |
With ales you don't drink to get drunk, you drink for the sheer pleasure of drinking. I wouldn't normally have more than about 2 pints a night - they're for savouring.
|
^ Yeah, some of my friends drink so they can get ****faced. Others just like the taste of certain Vodkas and stuff. My friend said that one Captian Morgan's Rum tastes like Watermelon Jolly Ranchers (for those of you who don't know what those are, they're small rectangular hard candies that have an incredibly sweet flavor. They're awesome). It sounds pretty good, and I heard it gets you absolutely smashed, too.
:thumb: -Gav |
Well, I'm off for the night. Later MX.
:thumb: -Gav |
Night!
Talk to you tomorrow, no doubt. |
I never get ****faced , me and like 5 dudes killed a entire keg in one night, i only got a slight buzz, we played poker till 7 in the morning, good stuff.
|
Cya.
You know what's fun? Pool/billiards. /Eats bacon, eggs and toast. |
uurrrrrrrrgggggggg 2 pizzas and some cake, me feels ill
