P.S. I only listened to the 1st Panopticon album. I thought it was really good but the drums were really high in the mix

also i don't really listen to black metal but i've really been digging Deathspell Omega lately (and i guess they aren't "really" black metal); Chainging the Katechon, Kenose, Fas, Diabolus Absconditus and Mass Grave Aesthetics are all so good. gonna try to get into Si Monvmentvm again later.

i started from [I]Si Monvmentvm Reqvires, Circvmspice[/I], then went onto [I]Kenose[/I], then [I]Fas - Ite, Maledicti, in Ignem Aeternum[/I] and then [I]Chaining the Katechon[/I]. Then I got their other 20 min songs; [I]Diabolus Absconditus[/I] and [I]Mass Grave Aesthetics[/I]. I'm just not into [I]Si Monvmentvm[/I] that much yet, but everything from there is amazing.

Si Monumentum is my favorite from them. I've heard Fas and Inquisitors of Satan too, Fas is pretty cool but not really black metal and Inquisitors of Satan is pretty much generic black metal with "evil" melodic riffing.

How is Fas not black metal?

well tbh i havent bought any in a while, but when i did i liked the fact i could get two tapes for about 10 bucks. if they were cds it would have been like 25 bucks.
