Trev 12-22-2005 03:45 PM

But the game he was downloading probably wouldn't work on a Mac.

Theres too many games to download, I have no idea what to get, any suggestions? I just got Age of Empires III the other week.

Hardly.

Apple is switching over to Intel based system shortly anyway. Thus there will be little to no difference between the two.

Other then their OS is hardware dependant, and won't handle most the entertainment applications of today.

Perhaps in a year they might wise up.

There's a reason why when I walk into fry's there is 55 Isles of software for PC and only 4 for Apple.

Seems to me apple don't own crap. PC rules, that's why you know.. all the great games come out on Apples.. and you know, all the great software.. that's on apples too... and you know apple has the largest selection of software, hardware and is totally twweakable. Not only that.. but it's not like apple crap costs almost 3x as much with 1/100th the software availible....

Oh wait.

I agree, I hate apples. My Dell pwns with windows.

Jezen 12-22-2005 05:18 PM

Dells really aren't good either. I built my own.

Japan3gro 12-22-2005 05:25 PM

Dell XPS in the house.

Jezen 12-22-2005 05:27 PM

Asus P4 Titan, Celeron 2.6 G/hz (:(), Dual boot - Win 98 SE + Win XP Pro VLK Slipstream, 512mb DDR RAM, ATI Radeon Hercules Prophet 8500 Pro.

mysticalyeti 12-22-2005 05:33 PM

Yeah, down with prebuilts!

raz0r 12-22-2005 05:35 PM
Dells really aren't good either. I built my own.
That's the way to go.

The one good thing about Dells are how quiet they are.
I appreaciate that so much more now, because my computer sounds like a jet engine.

The Ska Man 12-22-2005 05:52 PM

If you think those are quiet, you should try an Apple.

styler 12-22-2005 05:54 PM

cuz most people just turn off there apples...ive had nothing but bad experiences with apples...

The Ska Man 12-22-2005 05:56 PM

Dude, my computer is off 7-10 hours a week. And its never overheated.

That sounds like a piece of crap computer... hahaha

Build my own, never had heat issues ever. My current machine would pretty much blow everything away.

Not like that's hard, for less then $1,500 now you could build a terabyte machine with 4 gigs of ram and some other goodies. Not like processer speed matters anymore anyway..

Friggin lazy *** programmers....
