Matt would you be up for a trade for my Raein LP? I don't really dig on it and I'm looking to get rid of it. It's not first press or anything so maybe something you have that's common?

cool. ccr rule. post up if thank you for smoking is any good. why do you want to read the inferno though?

cbmartinez 10-07-2006 01:11 PM

Because it's an amazing book. It's written in like that old language yet it's easy to understand. But it's just a really good book too. I think I'm gonna read the other two even though they're not going to be as cool as reading about hell.

Thank You For Smoking is excellent, I saw it in theatres.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 10-07-2006 01:14 PM

Johnny Got His Gun is an amazing book, but depressing as hell. I love it. Most likley my favorite book.

cbmartinez 10-07-2006 01:15 PM

Yeah, the next day at school in this history room, they had a book of like 30 of them and my history teacher is like, "there not mine, you can just take them." So I made my friend who likes history get one.

cbmartinez 10-07-2006 01:23 PM

Watched the remake of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre yesterday while my friend did coke right in front of me. That movie is actually pretty awesome, on par with The Hills Have Eyes. Can't wait to see the new Texas Chainsaw tomorrow night.

A_Perfect_Sonnet 10-07-2006 01:24 PM

Redeemer is decent, but it definitely falls shorts of OGTA.

SubtleDagger 10-07-2006 01:25 PM

Yeah

And OGTA was't even good anyway

cbmartinez 10-07-2006 01:27 PM

Redeemer is ****ing terrible. It's so generic and bad. They sacrificed all that like technical stuff and skill they worked so hard to get on OGTA to make like shitty scene music. The first song is neat I guess.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 10-07-2006 01:28 PM

I don't like Redeemer at all. You guys know what Redeemer means?

SubtleDagger 10-07-2006 01:29 PM

You really need to stop calling OGTA technical

Ugh listen to PsyOpus or something -_-

cbmartinez 10-07-2006 01:31 PM

There's technical riffing. Listen to "Pretendeavor." Just because it's not Dillinger, doesn't mean aspects of it aren't technical, especially considering their first album.

cobert 10-07-2006 01:32 PM

I went to get American Psycho yesterday and the lady said it still sells like crazy and they didnt have a copy. Im getting it sometime next week when I go out.

I know some slut who let some guy bang her with a line of coke on his dick.

SubtleDagger 10-07-2006 01:35 PM

I've heard everything off the album and it's just not technical at all. Just because they have a song that starts in 7/4 for like thirty seconds with their drummer phrasing dumb so it sounds complicated doesn't make it technical, technical implies some amount of precision and not a whole lot of mindless repetition

Also I could play the guitar parts with my hands chopped off -_-

cbmartinez 10-07-2006 01:37 PM

Tab out some of the songs for me then. You're making the same arguments Jared made. Then he sent me some Cynic song that was boring and really minimally technical.

SunnyDayRealEstateAM 10-07-2006 01:37 PM

Do It!!

SubtleDagger 10-07-2006 01:40 PM

Cynic is technical?

I can play the NJ song pretty easily and any Cynic song is beyond my talents as well as yours I'm sure

I could probably tab it out in less than a few hours without that much trouble

What would be the point of that?

You'd just get numb vagina?

People are so fucking stupid.
What would be the point of that?

Yeah, she said it felt better because it was numb. I just dont get it.

Shes suching a fucking whore, if she would just admit it I wouldnt feel so wierd being one of her friends.

pixiesfanyo 10-07-2006 01:48 PM

It'd be cooler if he just took a line off her back while he was taking her from behind.

But that happened in Nip/Tuck.

It was cool though.

Cocaine is over rated.

I went to a psychadelic festival last night.

It was pretty cool.

SubtleDagger 10-07-2006 01:52 PM

I take it back cb

This song is so insanely easy I'll probably have it done in ptb within the hour

cobert 10-07-2006 01:59 PM

I went to a Westinghouse Science Honors Institute lecture today on nuclear energy. It was kind of cool.

pixiesfanyo 10-07-2006 02:11 PM

That sounds interesting.

But, I bet it went on for 40 minutes too long, like most lectures.

cobert 10-07-2006 02:20 PM

It was an hour long.

The guy talking said in the beginning about a study that was done that showed for the first 10 minutes of a lecture, everyone payed attention, then 10 minutes later, their minds started to drift away, and then 10 minutes after that, most of them started thinking of sexual fantasies, so he told us all that we'd definitely enjoy ourselves.
