It's funny to imagine a skinny aussie kid in a pink polo playing pv at a show, raving about the new Murakami novel while the bassist tries to fix his amp.

But I'm not that shallow and the music still rocks. That riff in Youth II is great. The vocals are also up to pv standard.

I don't wanna argue genres cause you obviously know more than me but your band is pv enough to be labeled a pv band.

Recording is great, really something. If you guys bang out some more memorable riffs and go easy on the filla next time, I can't see why you guys can't be a notable pv band.

and yeah, we do have a bit of pv influence, i guess a lot of pv bands are doing the sludge thing these days too, so the lines are a little blurred

by filler do you refer to the noise? i guess it was a bit much (1/3rd of it is noise), but it's easily skippable. the original plan was to have the songs rise and fall out of the noise, which i think we achieved

we're doing the physical copies in such a way that if you dont want to listen to it, it's avoidable - obviously on the cdr you can just rip it and reorder it as you see fit. the tape will have the full recording on side A and then side B will have the songs minus the noise tracks

theres some annoying static that comes up in both of them

its really not mixed well and there's clipping with some of the cymbals in the first song at least.
