I'm doing a big Crass - style piece for my art GCSE. I'll post a pic on wednesday if i can.

Actually, i need some examples of the crass - style border, yknow with all the political slogans round it. any pics? prefereably bands other than crass.

check the record label site or if you have an album they might have pictures and stuff to cut out of the booklet thing

alright guys.... i bought a leather jacket and am about to sow a misfits back patch onto it, when my father said that it would be best to use a type of patch glue that we have. Commen sence tells me to sow, but i dont want to screw it up, and he knows much more about this than me, so will sowing damage the jacket or will it not?

If your not taking it off it shouldn't matter.

Well, glue would ruin it too, any thing you put on this jacket you wont want to take off. Sewing would make holes in the jacket and glue would leave yucky dried up glue. if its not commimg off id suggest using both.
Really are you going to want a misfits patch maybe 3 years from now?

Leave the jacket how it is,thats my opinion. But, if you put something on it, put an original patch. What I mean by this is make your own design with fabric or Sharpie markers. Thats what im doing. My denim jacket that I used to have was just plain with guitar company patches, it was cool.:cool:Then my growth spurt happened :upset:

I saw some fat chick at a show who had a demin jacket with magic markers and sharpie **** written all over it and it looked so gay.

Well it was written all over it, so i dont deny that it looked horrible, but i was thinking Sharpie on the fabric.

i founda good way to make your own patches jus to clear everything up: get an image of what you want, paste it on microsoft word and make it how big you want it, then tape the cloth on a piece of paper and then print it out and the image will be on the cloth. I usually get the cloth from a pair of dickies pants that i snatch from the lost and found bin at my school
