Dr. Jake Destructo 06-10-2007 11:20 AM

I'm doing a blind-download on that Aniima album, Nator. What's it like?

Sounds really interesting.

Kage 06-10-2007 01:28 PM

it's pretty not really good or anything but it's not bad

Txus 06-10-2007 04:33 PM

It's a good album, nothing new.

Apocalypticon 06-10-2007 05:49 PM

hey dudes is it worth getting any Mono albums besides Are You There

Kage 06-10-2007 05:50 PM

Yeah, Flag Fluttered and One Step More are both really good.

See them live, though, if you really want to appreciate them!

Apocalypticon 06-10-2007 05:54 PM

I would love to see them live, but the chance of them coming anywhere near me is slim to none. Infact the chance of any really awesome post rock bands is slim to none.

Kage 06-10-2007 05:55 PM

Mono put on one of the best shows I've ever seen, period.

Well, they didn't really put on a show. I just mean their performance was outstanding.

Nepenthe 06-10-2007 05:56 PM

The best Jazz bands right now are up in Scandinavia.

Kage 06-10-2007 05:57 PM

huh

Apocalypticon 06-10-2007 05:59 PM

to bad Scandanavia is the land of snow and ice and frostbite

Kage 06-10-2007 05:59 PM

Fridge is indeed rocking.

Nepenthe 06-10-2007 06:01 PM

Koop, Esbjorn Svensson Trio, Samuel Jackson Five, Magyar Posse, Jaga Jazzist. Nuff said.

Txus 06-10-2007 06:04 PM

E.S.T are soooo damn good Seven days of Falling <3

Nepenthe 06-10-2007 06:05 PM

Koop is pretty much the greatest jazz you'll hear these days. Followed very closely by those other groups.

Txus 06-10-2007 06:08 PM

Never heard of Koop, can you upload some? :)

I doubt it'll top Hiromi for me at the moment, but I'll give it a try.

Nepenthe 06-10-2007 06:10 PM

Just sent you a link.

Apocalypticon 06-10-2007 06:11 PM

Samuel Jackson Five rule.

Txus 06-10-2007 06:12 PM

Thanks bro.

Kage 06-10-2007 06:18 PM

Those aren't really jazz groups though.

Send me a link for Koop though.

Nepenthe 06-10-2007 06:20 PM

Koop, Esbjorn Svensson, and Jaga Jazzist are. Samuel Jackson and Magyar are just very very jazzy.

Kage 06-10-2007 06:21 PM

Jaga Jazzist is mediocre

Magyar ****ing rules though.

Nepenthe 06-10-2007 06:24 PM

Woah woah woah wtf Jaga Jazzist is great.

I agree with your Magyar opinion though.

You just inspired me to pop on Kings of Time. I love this album.

Nepenthe 06-10-2007 06:27 PM

Intercontinental Hustle is like the coolest song title ever. And an excellent song.

Txus 06-10-2007 06:33 PM

Popzag is EPIC.
