How is Sabbath Bloody Sabbath? I love the song, but I haven't heard the rest of the album. I decided I'm getting Paranoid first, in a week or so. THAT is a great album.
|

Paranoid is a better album song for song, seeing as it has some of the most classic sabbath songs, but SbS is a great album, with alot of different kinds of experimentation and it's got wicked keyboards courtesy of Rick Wakeman of Yes. |
Really? I didn't know that. I love Rick Wakeman.
|
rick wakeman did that?!?! nice!
Get TYR. But just remember that if you wanna play it all the way through its probably best to skip feels good to me. It sounds better that way. The song was only put in so they could have a song that would sound good as a single.
I listened to TYR a few times lastly and I changed my mind: Feels good to me is a good song, too. And advice, Andy, get TYR. If you get Dehumanizer, share your opinion about it, I've heard it's the heaviest BS album...? I guess it's got to be good. |
F*ckin' d*mn. I'm very upset. I could be now in my girlfriend's house. Hopefully, at least a bit drunk. Instead I'm writing stupid stuff on mx. And playing my guitar. Happy New F*ckin' year everyone. May it be better for you and me than the last.
Edit: Rep+ to whoever I can. |
I can't wait until Andy gets ahold of you guys talking about Paranoid.
Happy New Year everyone. On SBS, I think it's a great song, and the title track is excellent. |
I've been listening to Never say die all day. I just remembered how good swinging the chain and junior's eyes are.
i much prefer it on vinyl to the one i have on cd though, it's a 2002 remaster. |

|

|
Heaven and Hell
|
Heaven & Hell is actually the only one I know :(... Who's got Dehumanizer? Tell something about it please...
|
I'm gonna do a favourite track off SBS right about now, I'll do sabotage later though.
to magicbus: SBS is probbably the best sabbath album in terms of composition and producing, whereas I prefer the self titled, it was recorded in 3 days, and for about £300, If you where going to get a sabbath album, allthough it greives me to say it, you should get Paranoid, it's (obviously) the most commercial of all the Sabbath albums, it's not my favourite, anywhere near it in fact, but as a sabbath starter it's excellent. anyway, back to: Sabbath Bloody Sabbath: #1:Spiral Architect #2:A National Acrobat #3:Sabra Cadabra #4:Sabbath Bloody Sabbath #5:Fluff #6:Killing Yourself To Live #7:Looking For Today #8:Who Are You The tracks with Rick Wakeman are numerous, but the most obvious ones from what I can tell are Sabra Cadabra and Who Are You, the albums amazing, if not as heavy as Vol 4, talking of which I'm doing a favourite track listing of that...right now. Black Sabbath-Vol 4 #1:Cornucopia #2:Wheels Of Confusion/The Straigtener #3:Supernaut #4:Snowblind #5:St. Vitus Dance #6:Tommorows Dream #7:Under The Sun #8:Laguna Sunrise #9:Changes #10:FX In my opinion the best value sabbath album, 10 songs, all great in their own way. It's deffinitley the heaviest sabbath album I've got, you can really tell Ozzy and Tony worked at these tracks, anyone who doesn't have it; BUY IT! Or at least download my four favourite tracks, they are Sabbath, at it's sweaty and heavy best, a great album that I rediscovered last week, it hasn't stopped spinning in my C.D player all week. Now for some advice to me, are Never Say Die and Technical Ecstasy worth getting? I heard some negative reviews about it, I'm not really sure whether they sound any good, anyone verify how good they are for me please? Other than that I haven't really made my mind up about Sabotage yet, hence me delivering my verdict a little bit later, the first couple of tracks (Hole In The Sky, Symptom Of The Universe, Megalomania) are all amazing, I haven't really had the time to 'figure out' the rest of the album yet. |
mob does rule
dont tell lord brum that
get masters of reality or sabbath bloody sabbath
Meh, you all know how I feel about Paranoid. And its Master of Reality, not Masters.
I've been listening to Never say die all day. Happy New Year guys, due to too much drinking and depression last night I'm going sober for as long as I can. Rock on. |
yeh happy new year everyone. mine was actually a fairly sober one as i was working in the pub, but i finished before midnight and got pleasantly tipsy. going into town on monday, will by Black Sabbath and Sabbath Bloody Sabbath (if i can find them)
|
holidays are over!!!
buy sabbath bloody sabbath, i did and it was one of my best buys |
any ways what else have we got
|
Black Sabbath Rules!!!!
|
there was a Pantera special on tv last night and they showed
the video for Planet Caravan. also they replayed an old tv show from 1983 called rock arena, where they played a rainbow video as well as neon knights. they also played a ton of acdc, def leppard, iron maiden, and motorhead. |
Symptom of the Universe.
I can't stress that enough, download it. It's probably their heaviest song, and the main riff sounds like something an early-80's thrash metal band would write. Which is amazing, seeing as this track is from Black Sabbath's 1975 release, Sabotage. Along with War Pigs and Iron Man, Symptom of the Universe is fast becoming an essential part of every Black Sabbath/Ozzy Osbourne playlist I put together. |
randy rhodes is one of the most over rated guitar players and i am happy that he is no longer with us
|
i would like black sabath if they could write good music but they suck ozzy sucks a fart out of zak myld's *** they all have gay bum sex for money becasue they can make any off there ****ty music oh yea and they suck did i mention that
