To the guy that asked for bands comparing to Slipknot, have you heard of Bleed the Sky? You may like them.

He can't. Haven't you seen any recent footage of them, or even heard their new album? His scream sounds a lot different.

Anyways, I just watched the "Before I Forget" video, and I thought it was pretty cool. I really liked that they played without their masks, but it would have been really cool if you would get to see them at the end. I've already seen what they look like, but having that at the end of the video would have been awesome.

Can someone get the video up on some space for me cause the yahoo !! site says i am a loser cause i live in holland so i cannot see the movie (ore something like that)

I agree. Very lame indeed.

I always use to say that I wanted them to keep the masks on. But that video, wanted me to have them take them off. I no longer care about the masks. I want them to take them off.
And, I hope they mature a lot by the next record. They're getting there, even though I didn't really like Vol.3. They should keep their old-scholl heaviness, but also become more melodic. Add some good guitar solos(no offence, but the ones on their new album were just wankage IMO). Basically, I wish their guitarists would change a lot, but that would screw over everyone else who likes them.

If you ask me, they should take the masks off to show that they are more about the music than the way they look. It just seems annoying now, just like Mudvayne was.

I just want to see Craig's full face, and then I'll be happy :lol:

I have pictures of all the rest, so it's not exactly new...but nobody has any full picture of Craig.

I'm actually kind of surprised he allowed himself to be shown, even if only for a second, without his mask on...given his personality (or purported personality, anyway)

He's supposed to be really reclusive, a real enigma...he apparantly leaves shows without hanging around after, he doesn't talk, etc.

If he's such a hermit, I'm surprised he allowed any part of his body other than his hands to be photographed, especially his face.

Man, if I was in Slipknot, I would be one of those people who likes to steal shows. I love being the center of attention when I play gigs.

I know, Craig is so secrative. I really wanna see an interview with him or something.

I can't wait until 'Knot takes off their masks though. It's much more fitting for this music. I have a huge feeling that by the next time they make a record, masks will be off.

poser... just because all those bands are really heavy doesnt mean they are better or more talented dont get me wrong im also into all that Dimmu Borgir, Old Man's Child Mayhem stuff but to me slipknot is just what got me into metal.

It's Quake 3, and his username is ZZ5 :cool:

I personally think they would be better suited without the masks now too, but meh. They keep saying they won't do it, that Slipknot will always have the masks...

But what do they do? Go and take the masks off. We might not have fully seen their faces, playing Slipknot music, but they took them off anyway.

They'll do it slowly so people can give it time to sink in, like we are doing right now.

Prelude 3.0? How is that even close to being considered their best song? It's probably one of the weakest parts on the entire album, if you ask me. I will agree with you on Purity, though. That is my favorite Slipknot song.

Anyone see the Before I Forget Video? I did. Their all Unmasked!!!! It only partially shows most band members faces like eyes and stuff. Corey Taylor was shown the most, well his eyes. But yeah it rocked. Anyone else see it? In the video, Corey's checkered shoes, I have the same shoes!!! :thumb:

I'll second that. It's more mature not to do the whole make up and mask thing.

Without masks, there is no slipknot.

Sadly, you are probably right. All of the little kids will think they aren't "hardcore" anymore and stop listening to them.

I like the masks, and no i'm not 12 before anyone asks.
