Look, I know they have been acting like idiots today, but they dont do this often. Give them another chance. They just have a problem fitting their ego into the forums.

I feel sort of bad now. I really only suggested a 2 day ban. A week is harsh :(.

Its not my problem, its not the users problem here. I don't tolerate this crap at all. I was more than fair with what I did. I could have reset thier repuation to negative 500, pruned about 500 post off them and banned them for 2 weeks. I decided on 1 week. Now they went and created users and made idiotic moronic posts. Im going to look back through thier historys tomm.. If I see a pattern of this Im going to delete them.......

The Ultimate playlists or "help me make a mixed cd because I have no idea what my own music tastes are and so I want an internet forum to decide for me" threads need to stop.

Hey, I was wondering what you guys would think of a couple ideas to help weed some things out that like to float around and get annoying.

A nu-metal thread. Hopefully this could cut down on a lot of the Slipknot, Disturbed, System of a Down, Mudvayne, Mushroomhead, and Korn threads. There seems to be hundreds of them constantly floating around. It gets annoying to some.

A Punk-metal/grindcore thread of some sort. Hopefully this would give a place for the Atreyu, From Autumn to Ashes, 36 Crazyfists, and Thrice fans to discuss w/o getting flamed out of both the punk and rock/metal forums.

I would suggest a Guns N' Roses official thread, but at this time there doesn't seem to be enough gn'r fans in here to justify it. Keep it in mind though if you guys could, please.

Oh and thank you for banning that idiot atreyu_breakingbenjamin. We are all eternally grateful. I hope he's perm. banned.

You two are very rude, but let me make one thing clear on the behalf of atreyu_breakingbenjamin. For anyone who cares, his computer froze up, and he kept trying to post that post but it wouldn't go through. Come to find out, it did post- once for every time he hit the post reply button trying to get it to work. Not until he got his computer rebooted did he realize this, and the next time he got on, well wouldn't ya know he's banned for something he didn't do on purpose. So i would suggest that people not judge until they know the facts, and mods not ban people on spur of the moment. If somebody who normally doesnt do that apparantly does and then you don't hear from them again, wouldn't you assume that something went wrong first before immediately banning them? atreyu_breakingbenjamin hopes you are all very proud of yourselves for being the sh!ttalkers that you are. That would be in reference to the two above idiots esp.

No. That would defeat the purpose of a Rock & Metal forum. It would just be fifteen threads, and everything else would be against the rules if we had all these threads for certain topics.

The servers time out sometimes, but when you send a request most of the time even if it does not load the reply is sent. You just can't connect to the server again for a few minutes to see your message. Learn some common sense about the internet and this would have never happened.
