Masskontrol and Misery rule. So does Voetsek; we might play with them. Hella psyched.

Oh, and HeavyHeavyLowLow here is coming soon. I am NOT going to miss that.

clustifux 01-06-2006 12:51 AM

ive never heard votesek....*boots up soulseek*

Subvert_bassist 01-06-2006 01:17 AM

Oh god, they're one of the greatest bay area thrash bands ever. And to think, you live so close without knowing who they are. Get some right ****ing now.

clustifux 01-06-2006 01:26 AM

I have one on slsk.

Subvert_bassist 01-06-2006 11:27 AM

So do I.

Capitalist Casualties, BORN/DEAD, Municipal Waste, and Bury the Living tonight. **** yeah.

AIRIC 01-06-2006 02:37 PM

From Ashes Rise are so good. Tragedy beats them by about 1 crust point.

Both are crust right?

clustifux 01-06-2006 03:39 PM

kinda like melodic hardcore...or whatever iti s. Im not to keen on generas. I just like music. hah.

Subvert_bassist 01-06-2006 04:13 PM

Tragedy is sludge in my book. From Ashes Rise is melodic hardcore, bordering on sludge in some songs. I don't consider either even slightly crust. But are ****ing awesome, though.

AIRIC 01-06-2006 04:37 PM

They didn't seem like melodic hardcore to me. Anyway, both are awesome.

Arrakakaka 01-06-2006 09:22 PM

Aww, I miss Swallowing Shit.

WAAAAAHHH!!

NP: Swallowing Shit - "If The Hated Me, They Will Hate You"

RetiredAt21 01-06-2006 11:46 PM

Tradgedy and From Ashes Rise are two of my favorite bands at the moment. SOOOOOOOO good.

Subvert_bassist 01-07-2006 05:02 AM

Oh, geez. I just got back from the Gilman, where I went to see Capitalist Casualties, BORN/DEAD, and Municipal Waste. What I didn't know until I got there was, Insect Warfare was playing. Oh my ****ing god, I about jizzed myself about then. I was so psyched. They ****ing ruled; all the bands did. Municipal Waste shows get crazy. It's started with flying garbage cans and insane pit action. Eventually, it evolved into a crazy mass of flying couches (yes, couches) and people literally crowd surfing: they were using ****in' bookie boards. Insane. And there was a smoke machine and a wizards. It was all a little bit disorienting.

Insect Warfare rule hard. I heard about that show on the b9. The chick talking about it was wierded out by Cap Casualties not headlining.

Ah, same here. There are no crust or grind shows in my area of Michigan. Hell, it would be safe to say that there is none in the state.

There isn't any crust/grind in xLancasterx either. It sucks, so, I want to start a grind band with my friends, and hopefully revive grind for this area. Ever since Vincent Price's Orphan Powered Death Machine broke up, this area has had any grind.

clustifux 01-07-2006 03:08 PM

the lamest part about last night....i wanted to go to that show, but i thought i had to work. I show up and she says i have the night off....Aint that abouta bitch. Sounds like a dope sohw.

Yeah man, that sucks hard. I've been in situations similar to that, and I got SO angry.

Oh how I wish I could go to this show. I don't even know where it is. Robinson own though.

AIRIC 01-07-2006 08:25 PM

As far as I know there is no crust or grind in my area.

RetiredAt21 01-07-2006 09:24 PM

There needs to be more GOOD/NOT GENERIC crust/grind in general.

You drove from Sac to Berkeley? That's a long f'ucking drive.

Subvert_bassist 01-07-2006 09:47 PM

Eh, an hour and a half to two hours. I'm used to it because we do it a lot; the east bay scene is sooooooo much better than Sac's scene, unless you like sexist oi kids and ****ty hardcore bands.

Brain Toad 01-07-2006 09:51 PM

If I had a car, I'd be over in the east bay as much as I can. Except toll and gas is quite expensive.

Subvert_bassist 01-07-2006 09:54 PM

For us, it's three bucks toll on the way back, and maybe twenty bucks for gas. On the way back, it's always like one or two in the morning and we can just drive insanely fast.

Anyone like Iron Lung? Pretty good stuff. I just got the Iron Lung/Lana Dagales split, though, and I have to say, Lana Dagales is amazing.

Sweet avatar man.

Subvert_bassist 01-07-2006 11:39 PM

Thanks. His Hero Is Gone is simply amazing. Definately one of my favorite bands.

P.S: I just found out that Ed Gein is playing with The Number 12 Looks Like You. Sweet.

gimp fest 01-08-2006 09:42 AM

has anyone got the Me And Him Call it US full length yet, i thinks it's called lost?
