Cannibal Corpse is the best NY Death Metal (Chris Barnes era from first album up to The Bleeding owns) and then Gallery of Suicide and Kill from Corpsegrinder era. Rest is a bit meh.

I don't really enjoy Chris Barnes era CC. I really enjoy the Corpsegrinder stuff.

Most of what Deicide made after Legion is abominable, but if you think the self-titled or Legion suck compared with other Floridian or Swedish death then you have bad taste in death metal.

That was one of the standout tracks for me.

For me, Blaspemy Made Flesh and None So Vile will always reign supreme. Even though Flo is one of the worlds sickest drummers and Lord Worm (in his day) was just immense. Canadian Death Metal = awesome.

Not Legion, but the s/t could not be more overrated. Legion is great stuff but albums like [I]Transcend the Rubicon[/I] or [I]The Winterlong[/I] which were coming out at the same time are far superior imo.

Immolation is sick and Malevolent Creation is good but I still enjoy CC.

I still need to get Blasphemy Made Flesh. I have None So Vile and the 3 newest albums including the brand new one.

Whisper Supremacy is quite good.

None So Live is pretty intense.
