Is A real live/dead one any good?
yes, but it's nowhere near as good as their other live DVD's.

pep 04-09-2006 12:22 PM

I was just about to grab Live after Death and some guy took the last one right in front of me

Stormrider 04-09-2006 08:11 PM

Listeing to Paschendale for the first time right now...

Deth 04-09-2006 08:16 PM

Mmmm

Such an amazing song.

Stormrider 04-09-2006 08:19 PM

Yeah, I liked it a lot :) Got me interested in Dance of Death...

NP Blind Guardian - Fly

Riva 04-09-2006 08:23 PM

Paschendale makes Dance of Death.

Deth 04-09-2006 08:23 PM

It's a very good album. I recommend it.

But get Seventh Son dammit.

Riva 04-09-2006 08:25 PM

I have every Iron Maiden studio release from the '80s and '00s.

Deth 04-09-2006 08:35 PM

Sorry, not you.

I was talking to Stormrider about his constant putting off of buying 7th Son.

Apocalyptic Raids 04-09-2006 08:56 PM

7th Son is my favourite Maiden.

Stormrider 04-09-2006 10:04 PM

I never said I wasnt going to buy 7th son Deth, where did you get that idea ? I was just stating that 7th son now seemed more interesting.

7th son is the next Maiden I'm buying, along with X - Factor.

That whole album is brilliant, but yes, paschendale is a definate higlight.

JamJar 04-10-2006 02:40 AM

Dance Of Death is amazing. Face In The Sand = Maiden's most underappreciated song ever.
Good you're getting X-Factor.
Since hes getting X-factor he should might aswell get virtual 11, to show the other side of blaze. Actually, he should just buy their whole catalougue (sp?), problem solved :)

crag 04-10-2006 06:36 AM

Paschendale, Face in the Sand, Dance of Death and Journeyman make DoD.

Josh 04-10-2006 06:39 AM

the only not-so-good song on DoD is Gates of Tomorrow. i'd say it's a bad song, but that would be a lie, as i'd only be comparing it to other maiden efforts and not to other bands' music, which it's way better than.

crag 04-10-2006 06:41 AM

There are no Maiden songs that i'd class as bad.

Josh 04-10-2006 06:42 AM

nah, just below average. maiden's worse songs are still way better than most other bands could manage, ever.

JamJar 04-10-2006 07:09 AM

I like Gates Of Tommorow :(. The guitar melodies own me.

it's the only song on DoD i don't love. i don't skip if i'm listening to the album though.

 so it is, i never noticed that before, i still like the song though.

Deth 04-10-2006 10:25 AM

Well Face in the Sand's intro is like Blood Brothers.

Left to Right, that's: Me, a certain bassist who plays for a certain band, my friends, Jamie and Calum

Deth 04-10-2006 10:40 AM

What's Stevey doing in a train station? :p

Lucky boy.

crag 04-10-2006 11:02 AM

 word's cannot express how jealous i am of you.

alexmonty12 04-10-2006 11:04 AM

It was last year, 25th June, the day of the great Iron Maiden concert over in Paris, as part of their Golden Days tour, and down at the Kent EuroStar train station Steve Harris was getting on the same train as us to go to the exact same place. God knows why he wasn't with the other boys of Iron Maiden and getting a train over, but it was pretty damn fortunate he was :D

I guess you can afford to use transport like that when you're not that publically well known. Metal bands don't often get as noticed as more main-stream artists. As I was running back with my friends to our section of the platform, one woman stopped and asked me who he was
