no but dave mustain was an ******* to be kicked out in the first few weeks he was wit metallica
Keep in mind that he wrote pretty much a ton of the songs on the first three albums. He was there for more than a few weeks.

Thanks, munky. :)

wazzacky 03-22-2005 11:25 AM
Actually, Dave was very important for early Metallica, and I'm pretty sure, although I may have to check it up/be corrected, that Dave was in Metallica for at least a year.
waht ever my metallica knowledge has gone week on me for the psat few weeks :upset: :upset: :upset:

No, Metallica stole material from Mustaine, who simply reused the material that was rightfully his own in Megadeth songs.

ok first of all i was posting an opintion. i'm allowed to do that. SECOND i belive the call of kitulu (correct my spelling if it's off) is a riff stolen from dave... i'm a fan i just don't like the nut sucking drummer. Especially after he helped neuter (once again correct my spelling if you feel the need) that poor napster cat... that cat had big balls... big balls...

I'm great, my guitar playing has improved and i have a new found love for throwing bits of rubber at cars as they drive past. Yourself?

There... I知 sorry I didn't know how to spell ktulu off hand... next time I値l remember to be the smartest man in the world, are you guys happy now? Did that make your day light up? Does my grammar further emphasize the suckage of Lars?

Yeah, can't deny that...

mattydrummer 03-22-2005 12:04 PM

hi everyone i think master of puppets is the best metallica song

Nick Morzov 03-22-2005 12:04 PM

Let's move on to non Metallica Bashing Subjects... How good is Hammet? How consistant is James' voice? Let's not deny the awesome-ness of one of the greatest bands of all time!

Hammet is good. James' voice is awesome although i like his voice more in the AJFA album and live sh*t. his voice is the best live.

I think they're better live then their older recordings. I don't think it would be a bad idea if they re-recorded all their old albums... How awesome do you think that would sound? I mean listen to S&M's Master of puppets in the bridge... TEN times cleaner and oh so awesome with the orchestra!

Six Foot Revolver 03-22-2005 12:17 PM

Six Foot Revolver 03-22-2005 12:24 PM

S&M's mix with the classical music was amazing though

Nick Morzov 03-22-2005 12:24 PM
I think that's a terrible idea.
/strongly dislikes S&M
Well that's your opinion, like mine about Lars' skills as a drummer. I think it's a GREAT idea

The point of these forums is to state your opinion

coolidgeALL 03-22-2005 12:45 PM

that could be interesting

PepsiMetal 03-22-2005 12:46 PM

Well they play many older songs in their concerts, so it would be pretty pointless for them to re-record all albums when you can just go to their concerts and hear them play many older songs.

not everyone has 80 bucks lying arround man

not that i'm complaining either their shows are long... but i want ALL the old ones!

Nick Morzov 03-22-2005 12:49 PM
Wait, you honestly believe it would be a good thing if they re-recorded all their albums? Seriously?
NP:Black Label Society-Dirt On The Grave (beautiful song)
yes i do

Six Foot Revolver 03-22-2005 12:54 PM
Re-recorded KEA would almost certainly suck.
PepsiMetal 03-22-2005 12:56 PM

Well their aim would probably be to create identical albums to the ones previously. So yea, not much difference except in hetfields voice.

Nick Morzov 03-22-2005 12:57 PM
Re-recorded KEA would almost certainly suck.
I don't think so man. Knowing Metallica they'd change it a little bit, but for the most part it would be the same... just better.
-Better recording conditions
-Fine Tuned Musicianship (yes even lars, if you play the same songs long enough you have to be good at them)
-Better Producing (that kind of depends on the producer too)
-Instruments, i'm not really sure what they used in the KEA recording, but i'm sure their instruments are better now...
