Well, yeah, making that second thread was pretty stupid.

Arucard 06-28-2005 05:18 PM

Yes, it was. I feel bad now. Is that dumb? Feeling bad on an internet forum :/

Lord Abortion 06-28-2005 05:18 PM
God the pit has been awful lately. I dont understand why people cant make one decent thread. Not 1.

Yes, it was. I feel bad now. Is that dumb? Feeling bad on an internet forum :/
I dont think so. I once felt bad for some guy who thought his crap cd was gonna sell 30,000 copies and he was gonna buy all the blank cds and have people help distribute them.

Arucard 06-28-2005 05:23 PM

Right, to turn this into a productive 2 weeks, who thinks i can hit 1,000 posts without spamming?

Bear in mind i don't go to school or anything for the next three months.

Neurotoxin 06-28-2005 05:28 PM

I haven't been able to hit 1 000 posts in more than 2 years.
Watch for statuitory rape sentences, Jelle.
I'm pretty sure 16's legal.

Neurotoxin 06-28-2005 05:47 PM
"When I was growing up, there was a saying, 'Sixteen will get you 20… Sixteen is a girl's age; "20" is the number of years an adult male would spend in prison if he had sex with her.'" More and more studies are pointing to the fact that a significant number of teens are impregnated by adult men. While laws prohibiting predatory behavior have long been on the books in all 50 states, they have mostly languished for the past two or three decades.

Statutory rape laws are based on the premise that until a person reaches the age of maturity, that person is legally incapable of consenting to sexual intercourse. The age of consent ranges from 14 to 18 years of age, although in more than half of the states - including Massachusetts - the age of consent is 16. The primary intention of statutory rape laws is to protect teenage girls and, recently, boys as well, from being sexually preyed upon by adults. By design, the laws are meant to deter and punish adults who have sex with minors. By definition, these laws are targeting non-forcible sexual activity. States and counties are generally not pursuing teenage "lovers" who are close in age. Instead, law enforcement agencies typically prosecute statutory rape cases only when there is an age gap of 5 or more years between the minor and their partner.
Taken from http://www.mafamily.org/StatutoryRape.htm

This is extremely sickening:
In Massachusetts, MFI's research (using 1996 data) found that in cases where adult men voluntarily acknowledge paternity:

* Men age 20 and older account for 23 percent of all births by girls age 15 and younger
* Men age 20 and older account for 39 percent of all births by girls age 17 and younger.
Dr. Jake Destructo 06-28-2005 05:50 PM

So, in the case of statutory, what happens if the girl is 18(I'm talking about the US here) and the guy is 19...I mean they could only be seperated in birth by a couple months, but from what I've gathered, this shouldn't happen, according to my 19 year old friend who couldn't get an 18 year old girl if he tried.

In other news, today, I purchased Blackwater Park.

EDIT: I read the rest of that article, never mind.

Neurotoxin 06-28-2005 05:53 PM

I'm not exactly sure how it works, but I would think your example is legal.

EDIT: Yeah, I read it over as well.

I have the unfortunate habbit of making new accounts.

The ones I play on most are:

Elephant-Shoe - This is my strictly FFA account. Ranked 39 right now, after XP decay owned me (I was higher) due to school. The % isn't great, but that's common for top 100 FFA'ers.

Other accounts:

Dr.D.Fect (RT 4v4/FFA)
Merthious. - 70% / RT4v4/FFA
the-implant - A played on this account for a while when I started, then just started to joke around and give free wins. I recorded how many wins I had given on this account, but I lost the sheet. Upwards to 100. I also massed towers in 4v4 RT quite a lot, never expecting to win.

My other two FFA accounts that I am building right now are:

mer[thious] - 4-0 UD FFA
converge - 4-0 NE FFA

I'll be playing with those and getting them higher once I have time. I've got a solid FFA NE strat down, and now win 90% of all my NE FFA games on all of my accounts.

Wow. Alexi Laiho looks very feminine. Guys that wear pink are foolish teeny boppers. My head aches due to sinus blockage. My mum is leaving for Europe today, she is gone for a month. I like Triple Chocolate, and Anzac biscuits.

Riva_IronFist on Azeroth or Lorderon. But as you may know, my internet connection is really annoyingly screwy.

Cain 06-28-2005 06:25 PM

I rented the 1979 Dawn of the Dead. I'm about to watch it. Here's hoping it's good, scary, and good. :)

Neurotoxin 06-28-2005 06:27 PM

My internet connection is quite annoying as well. The last game I played (if you call it that) was quite annoying. A minute into the game I lagged out. What sucks is that I know I would've won that game (a bunch of n00bs) and it was on my best FFA map.

I also have problems with my lack of RAM. I've disconnected quite a few times due to a "Low Virtual Memory" message.

It is. If it isn't, they've clearly given you the wrong film by mistake.

Keep an eye out for Hare Krishna zombie (and friends).
