Justin, ridiculously obscure emo bands are good if you like the sounds of two guitars that are obnoxiously out of tune mixed with vocals that are either barely discernable or so incredibly low in the mix that they are insignificant and only a hindrance to the already annoying listening experience. To top it off, the recording will be distant and have an uneven mix of all horribly and barely played instruments, sometimes and usually including random static noises so that it seems more DIY.

RetiredAt21 08-02-2007 07:59 PM

Send me a ****ing link or something.

Oh, and Justin...when I move into a dorm in about two weeks, I'm going to get your AIM sn and I'll be asking you for a lot of black metal if you don't care because at home, I still have 56k.

As soon as I heard about that I thought of that one Jeromes Dream song, "Exit 29 Collapsed As I Drove By".

santi3hg 08-02-2007 09:15 PM

Totally read that wrong...withdraw my comment justin.

And I did the same cob.

kc1296426 08-02-2007 09:17 PM

So whats the point of this thread?

cobert 08-02-2007 09:29 PM

General discussion, even though most talk about emo goes in here anyways.

We didnt ask for some prick to come in here and say 'NO THIS IS REAL EMO'. If he wouldve looked at almost any page of this thread he wouldve seen we're not Victory Records fanboys that listen to Silverstein.
