Are you into Acheron? I've been listening to Rites of the Black Mass religiously lately. Seems to be the only death / black that has kept me interested.

iirc if you make a stereo wav file and put 50 Cent's Wankster on the left channel, and Devourment's Choking on Bile on the right channel, you can't hear a different, they match perfectly.

Nostalgia, I like some of Acheron's early stuff. That album is probably the best of the stuff that I've heard, so long as you ignore the weird intro tracks. Another decent (though not earth-shattering) death/black band is Imprecation. Have you heard them?
