Wait, my mistake. Mitch Mitchell was in Gypsys, Suns and Rainbows. They performed at Woodstock. Band Of Gypsys performed at The Fillmore East and I don't think Mitch Mitchell played with them much.

yea well a lot of jazz drummers were really fast and held their sticks like that.
