Can anyone recommend me some good Afro-Cuban, Samba/Bossa Nova, and/or similar types of albums? I want to learn some stuff like this.

I'll check it out. Thanks. |
Not as nice as your basa.
Ah but this cuts through the mix a lot better. |
Ah but this cuts through the mix a lot better.
Doesnt even have to be amplified to be cut better then your basa!

My cat ripped into my finger yesterday, and I just hit the wound on my snare rim like three times.
God hates me. |
nah cats just suck
get a dog |
I hate dogs.
They're loud, they smell, and they need to go for walks. Cats are relatively quiet, poop in boxes, and don't like that much attention. Cats>Dogs |
My cat is an attention whore.
He kicks *** though. |
Cats pwn all other animals except bigger cats.
'nuff said. My cat play fights with me all the time but he never cuts me... your cat must've been pissed at something, Pespi. |
Cats are lame.
Evidence enough by their trainability - aka limited. I like em cause they are furry, warm and easy to make purr.. wich makes you feel better. But in the realm of animals, cats fall very much down in the lower levels of "getting totally f-d up from being stupid" area. |

Isn't that the same as smoking pot? Anyway, I love cats. They absolutely rock. I love dogs too, but cats more. |
i think id take a big furry cat or a smaller furry dog, dog for companship and big furry cat for the fact that if you get a nice cat, you can spin them on the floor by there tale (my old cat loved it)

Pets aren't toys..

They get free food, shelter, and strokes, and in return they sleep 18 hours a day. Seems like the sensible thing to me. Not always fun for you, but smart on their part. |
Has anyone seen The Anarchists Cookbook? im watching it and its awesome

I wish I was a cat :upset:

Ah you win a cookie! Somebody smart... in that sense. Very smart animals. However, from living in this neighbor hood, I'd say a strong argument goes against them. If they were so smart, to understand they are getting free food, lodging, love etc.. then why, and this is very literal, is a good 2 or 3 cats eaten every month here? You'd think if they were smart I wouldn't come across their shredded bodies on a regular basis.... I never run into dead dogs that the cyotte's got ahold of, even the tiny "magezine" dogs that all these rich wives have. |
I'd rather be a bird.
|
So you can be smart enough to fly into powerlines....... oh hang on ;)
|
Wow Josiah.
Coyotes? Ouch. |
Bah, big cats, however, are badass.
I think I already said I wanted a tiger for a bodyguard >_> |

depending on what type you get, dogs are the same way. my dog is an Aus. sheep dog mix of some kind and she sleeps all day when no one is home, and all night, plus whenever it is quiet.(like right now) plus she never barks, so thats always an advantage. |
My dog is awesome, lovable, sometimes yes i'll admit he's annoying. He will stand at the door and bark so you let him out then he'll go out you'll go sitdown and he'll bark to come in right when you sit down. Everyday he seems to do this
|
I like my dog. She has to go get a tooth pulled tomorrow.
:upset: |
That sucks, my dog needs his nails clipped

Coyotes? Ouch.
That's a very common occurance in Southern California actually. I can attest to the same thing where my house is. Though I do love cats, as does my wife, wich means I do.. hahaha Our cats however must be inside at night for exactly that reason. While 'monitary' success has given us a nice place to live, a nice home, etc It has pushed into the bounds of the wild and as such, those animals do come and wander the streets for food (trashcans anyone?), animals, etc.. I love watching the racoons when I get the chance though. My favorite animal by far. Cats are not a prey animal, the bigger ones are, but domesticated cats are just loving little creatures. I have a dog though, I had to train it to get along with the cats.. or my wife may have preyed on it! |
