Also, thing with Blackalicious - around them were Buck 65, VHS Or Beta, Four Tet, and M.I.A., all of whom were better. Especially M.I.A. So it made Blackalicious look bad.

This thread has been pretty sluggish these past few days.

Haha I felt kind of funny going up to him, but I knew for a fact it was him. So I just walked up and said I was a fan and shook his hand.

Glitterati 08-30-2005 05:34 PM

Mmmm....hot chocolate and The Red Hot Chili Peppers are a winning combination.

Yes indeed

The first recipes for any kind of chocolate (as made by mesoamericans like the Aztecs) were drinks that also had chili peppers

I'm out of green tea and have a major headache :(
Not a winning combination :p

The cacao bean was also used as currency.

Cool. Did they have salt over there too? I'm not well-versed in my Meso-American societies.

They should have.. I can't think of another way they'd survive without a fridge.

The Earth is Not A Cold Dead Place, most romantic album ever?

I say so.
And it was bitter.
You'd be bitter too if the people you thought were gods came to your land and wrecked up the place. Island cities ravaged, lakes filled in, people enslaved, and now people are drinking chocolate with SUGAR?!

Yup, although some parts of "First Breath After Coma" sound like winning at the Olympics.
Ugh, were they the top ones or the bottom ones?
The bottom ones. I've been told that i don;t have and won't be getting the 2 top ones which is good, I suppose.

Little Man being Erased 08-30-2005 10:40 PM

The top ones are a lot less trouble to get out though. I had mine out and they just used a local and yanked 'em out.
