No way, I only go to the Black Metal thread in R/M. And sometimes the death metal thread.

I think it's terrible and I hate goths.

Most black metal isn't cheesy, you probably heard crappy generic black metal bands.

True, but I just don't like the whole goth/industrial element that is in black metal. The closest to gothic stuff I come is psychobilly.

I've heard stuff like Darkthrone and Immortal, but I never really enjoyed it.

There is only an industrial element in symphonic black metal, which sucks in my opinion.

Darkthrone is one of my favorite black metal bands.

Real Black Metal is [U]NOT[/U] industrial. You should become more open minded to other kinds of music.

I am, I like all types of music except for industrial/techno, and black metal type stuff.

Cradle and Dimmu both blow. Behemoth, Immortal, and Celtic Frost are really good though. I think Behemoth is more death metal though. I'm not sure, I might be wrong.
