I'd wanna go, but I can't afford it. Hopefully someone just bootlegs it for all the poor fans out there.

edit- I don't mind some of Kravitz's earlier stuff, his hits were good...but if you listen to an entire album, it's not very original at all. And how were the shrooms?

xxxRoCkJuNkiExxx 01-31-2005 09:32 PM

Badmoon's back!

$700 a pair!! Now I have absolutely no chance.

Well I've been working my ass off for the chance to go, so I have the money now. With my luck I would go to the show in London and then Cream would decide to come to the U.S. and tour.

Badmoon is alive. We were worried about you earlier.
I would love to see the reunion concert, but I'm stuck in the U.S.:(
Me too, wow that would be so much fun

BillCosby 01-31-2005 09:33 PM

Hey Badmoon, what's your AIM?

EDIT: Post 4,444.

Badmoon 01-31-2005 09:35 PM

Not now dude.

badmoon349

BillCosby 01-31-2005 09:37 PM

Well, I already have Endtroducing uploaded on yousendit, so I was just gonna give you the link.

Badmoon 01-31-2005 09:41 PM
I dunno who that is.

Does anyone know how Badmoon's shrooms went?
Well, the dumbass dealer didn't get them in. So we are going to do it at my friend's birthday party on Friday.
I have about 3800.

Badmoon was probably caught, he's grounded.
The ironic thing about that is I wasn't here today because I was getting high :p.

Badmoon 01-31-2005 09:42 PM
Well, I already have Endtroducing uploaded on yousendit, so I was just gonna give you the link.
Oh, cool. If I knew how to do it, I'd do that for you. Give me one more day.

lunch998 01-31-2005 09:43 PM

Shroom dealers are sketchy guys. I never believe that they are getting them until they actually have them.

Badmoon 01-31-2005 09:44 PM

^Well, the only thing more sketchier than shroom dealers are dealers who don't usually deal and have a hard time getting you the shrooms.

lunch998 01-31-2005 09:46 PM
^Well, the only thing more sketchier than shroom dealers are dealers who don't usually deal and have a hard time getting you the shrooms.
I was kind of including the people that claim they can get shrooms and then never do. Those people piss me off, that's why I never believe they have them unless it's on the person.

BillCosby 01-31-2005 09:51 PM

I'm guessing that means you want the link...?

Meh, here it is.
http://s26.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=3QZK677R52RLV3U23CN8835ENV

It's compressed into a zip file, just so you know.

Ulysses 02-01-2005 06:14 AM

Shroom dealers that promise you a crop will be ready for the pickin' soon and then it fails because they didn't take enough care with it, and you were gearing up for some badarse tripping, which obviously can't happen meaning you have to wait, grow your own or find another dealer. :upset:

New thread title: Classic Rock/Shroom Discussion.

ATM 02-01-2005 01:56 PM

Cream's Toad is such a great song.

Ginger Baker is my hero. The live version on Wheels of Fire owns too.
Ginger Baker is my hero. The live version on Wheels of Fire owns too.
Or should I be talking about shrooms?
Or should I be talking about shrooms?
Well it's classic rock/shrooms so you're ok with classic rock.

Broken Arrow 02-01-2005 03:04 PM

Toad-Toadstools-Mushrooms;)

Anywho how about them Who? I love "Live at Leeds" so much.

thickasabrick 02-01-2005 03:45 PM
Shroom dealers are sketchy guys. I never believe that they are getting them until they actually have them.
Dealing shrooms is really dangerous, because (maybe it's different in other countries) if you get caught with shrooms...and they beleive you have intent to sell them they can charge you for murder/attempted murder. I'm not sure exactly why, maybe because a lot of mushrooms can be mistaken for magic ones when they are actually really poisonous. Or maybe because people may do stuff to hurt themselves while tripping.

And I've got the Live and Leeds record and I love it. Although sometime's it just seems like feedback for parts of the song...sometimes I can't tell whether Townshend is actually playing guitar, or just bashing it on something.

Broken Arrow 02-01-2005 03:47 PM

Yeah Pete liked to break things.

Illmatic 02-01-2005 03:48 PM

"Magic Bus" on Live at Leeds is lovetacular.

thickasabrick 02-01-2005 04:00 PM

It's strange how talented that band was. I was just thinking to myself "Keith Moon was the main source of talent in that band." Then I had to consider how great Entwhistle was at bass, and Daltries singing. I think Townshend was a great songwriter, and his guitar was good...although sometimes it leaves something more to be desired.

Who do you guys think was the weakest member of that band? (talent wise obviously)

Daltrey

ultimaterocker 02-01-2005 04:12 PM

daltry

Badmoon 02-01-2005 04:13 PM
Daltrey
Instrumentally, Townshend.

jpj 02-01-2005 04:18 PM

Townshend methinks.

Against Miik! 02-01-2005 04:27 PM

Compared to eachother, i'd say Townshend. But compared to music in general, none of them were that great as far as skill goes.

jpj 02-01-2005 04:31 PM
Compared to eachother, i'd say Townshend. But compared to music in general, none of them were that great as far as skill goes.
Whaaaaaaaa????? Entwhistle is one of the greatest rock bassists of all time, and the same goes for Moon on drums.

"5150" 02-01-2005 04:31 PM

Who's Next is a masterpiece.

It's hard to say who is the least talented in the band. If I had to choose, I would go with Townshend.

Yeah, okay

pigonthewing82 02-01-2005 04:56 PM

 why do people have an obsession with trying to find the best band member in a band, and ive seen it even more so with bands in whitch all the members are brillent, all this does is piss people off and lead to people hating certain band members even

ledpoisoning27 02-01-2005 04:58 PM

i just found out that their are no more shroom dealers in my neighborhood or at least that i know of. i used to know of three, but one went to rehab, another moved to utah (what the **** is in Utah), and another one quit using and selling drugs. so now the only person who i can do shrooms with is my cousin, who is an 18 year old wigger.

Illmatic 02-01-2005 05:08 PM

Thank you. That was very constructive.

BludgeonySteve 02-01-2005 05:10 PM

I love classic rock and hate it when somebody only talks about Led Zeppelin. As if that's al lthat they listen too...

Illmatic 02-01-2005 05:14 PM

But Led Zepplin (note the common spelling error) is the greatest band that ever was.
