Deth 12-01-2007 03:12 PM

I have finals week coming up, but just went to a football game where our team won the Conference Championship! Whoo!

gmoneyguy 12-01-2007 03:13 PM

What school are you at?

pate 12-01-2007 03:15 PM

lol UCF

Deth 12-01-2007 03:15 PM

University of Central Florida

We couldn't rush the field though because of a 9 foot drop and dozens of cops. Lame.

lol WIU

The Door Mouse 12-01-2007 03:17 PM

Hey, my cousin went there!
=D

pate 12-01-2007 03:22 PM

How'd Kevin Smith do?

gmoneyguy 12-01-2007 03:26 PM

I think I'm gonna take a nap. Later guys.

Deth 12-01-2007 03:27 PM
How'd Kevin Smith do?
284 yards with 4 TDs.

Riva 12-01-2007 03:30 PM

I love how the mother sport for Gridiron, which is Rugby Union, requires you to touch the ball down in the try area to score a try, whereas in Gridiron you just have to put the ball across the line to score a "touchdown".

Deth 12-01-2007 03:30 PM

Nothing is stopping you from putting the ball down really.

Kage 12-01-2007 03:32 PM

How is that relevant or even interesting?

Riva 12-01-2007 03:34 PM

It's just funny how the sport where you're required to touchdown doesn't call it a touchdown, and the one where it is optional to touchdown calls it a touchdown.

Carry on.

Kage 12-01-2007 03:35 PM

You touch your body down. 8)

Deth 12-01-2007 03:37 PM

NP: New Ayreon

Yes, it's very cheesy.

Riva 12-01-2007 03:37 PM

I've never seen them do that, they always run across and then do a big soccer-style celebration. Admittedly I've only seen sporting highlights and movies, maybe they do it often in average games.

Kage 12-01-2007 03:38 PM

Often it's them diving over the line with ten people diving on top of them.

TojesDolan 12-01-2007 03:39 PM

Like opening a tuna can.

Jom 12-01-2007 03:42 PM

In American football, you just have to break the plane - it doesn't have to cross the line.
Just a random tidbit-esque clarification. Rugby is violent.

So like. A friend of mine that moved to Minnesota who I haven't seen since 6th grade called three times today. My dad didn't get his number.

Riva 12-01-2007 03:43 PM

Ah okay. Sounds brutal.

@Jom: You have every photo ever posted on MX saved, right? But yeah, I love to touch some boys.

we all need a little Bizmarkie
Hey Kids! It's time for Biz' Beat Of The Day. Gather round for Biz' Beat Of The Day. Okay, here is Biz' Beat Of The Day. I want ya'll to do this:

*fart* ahhhh *fart* ahhh *fart* ahhh

I know you gots it. Keep practising till I see you next!

Jom 12-01-2007 03:48 PM
@Jom: You have every photo ever posted on MX saved, right? But yeah, I love to touch some boys.
Practically. The reason why I have those four saved is from the Monday Night Mayhem thread where Jombot hijacked it and we made it a game.

It was so funny when people guessed wrong in the photographs.

Riva 12-01-2007 03:50 PM

Yeah, I think the black guy with dreads in the Union photo was the one most people picked, either facetiously or seriously.

pate 12-01-2007 04:03 PM
NP: New Ayreon

Yes, it's very cheesy.
:o Ayreon is never cheesy. And thanks for letting me know it leaked :p

i am the robots 12-01-2007 04:04 PM

I'll leak all over you Pate.
X3 you all, brb.

Deth 12-01-2007 04:08 PM
:o Ayreon is never cheesy. And thanks for letting me know it leaked :p
I love them, but denying their cheesiness is foolish and misguided.

Riva 12-01-2007 04:09 PM

This is incredibly relaxing to watch.

Danger Bird 12-01-2007 04:10 PM

My friend and I are starting an Avant-Garde Jazz Metal/Gangsta Rap band. It's gonna be huge.

AA-12 12-01-2007 04:22 PM

Ayreon is worse than Dream Theater :\\\\\\\

Deth 12-01-2007 04:24 PM

YOU'RE worse than Dream Theater.

I'm just a sucker for insane amounts of awesome vocalists.

pate 12-01-2007 04:24 PM

Ayreon and DT are pretty close in terms of awesomeness.

AA-12 12-01-2007 04:26 PM
I'm just a sucker for insane amounts of awesome vocalists.
why are you listening to Ayreon?

:o

Deth 12-01-2007 04:28 PM

Go listen to wind sounds

Glitterati 12-01-2007 04:28 PM

I only listen to Nas, Radiohead and The Flaming Lips.

seriously I could live off those bands alone.

in fact I'm gonna put on Illmatic right now.

What are you kids up to today? It snowed here.

AA-12 12-01-2007 04:29 PM

np: wind - ocean brees

pate 12-01-2007 04:29 PM

We've had wintery mix all day. The roads look like a hockey rink.

Nostalgia 12-01-2007 04:30 PM

Snowing now. Tomorrow I plan on going to the mountain and seeing how much we actually got.

AA-12 12-01-2007 04:31 PM

I've never even seen snow.

:(

**** Florida.

Then again, it's kind of a good thing. Snow would get really annoying.

Deth 12-01-2007 04:33 PM

**** Florida indeed

Nostalgia 12-01-2007 04:33 PM

I don't think I've ever been tired of snow. There's really not a bad thing about it, other than the road conditions. Who cares about that though.

Tyler 12-01-2007 04:34 PM

Snow is really pretty for the first half an hour. Then it turns to disgusting brown slush, the roads become 100% ice (as they are right now) and then the temperature hits a standstill and becomes crisp and freezing to the point that your face actually hurts when you go outside.

I've been feeling gross the last few days, and an impending migraine is taunting me, so I'm hanging in, watching the Raptors game and playing video games.
