I would have gone for a Digitech pedal if they only had USA made electro-harmonix. The Double Muff sounded good for distortion, but nothing else. The Bassballs fills up so much sonic space when I slap, it makes me sound decent!

Yeah I told you to earlier today, that thing he does with his bass in the begfining is what itried to get my bass injury, the bottom straplock dug into my arm when I cought the bass. I remeber learning Amerika off that vid.

Hahaha. I'd never try to do that with my bass. But from the looks of his I don't think he cared that much...

I would kill someone, correction a few people for his original "distressed" jazz bass. Sux what he did with it. When he was in New York a few weeks before his death he simply left it in the middle of central park and walked away. Some homeless person out there probly has one of Jaco's basses in his shopping cart.

Hmm...playing Jaco's actual bass would be somewhat depressing for me. I mean...you KNOW the sound that can be brought out of it, and what kind of tool it's been used as... It seems like it would have it's only proper place in Jaco's hands.

I wouldnt play it as much as put it in a case above my bed and look at it everynight before I go to sleep.

I'd be perfectly content with that.
