Anxious 03-22-2008 09:39 AM

He's 18, has a livejournal linked to his account, and lives somewhere in Southern California. His livejournal is pretty inconspicuous though.

dei 03-22-2008 09:40 AM

Link.

samariah 03-22-2008 09:42 AM

maybe he's just an innocuous fan

Anxious 03-22-2008 09:44 AM

Naw, no link

I do have phenomenal taste in music. That must be it. But I don't do anything worth any merit to anyone else like writing or making music. I'm essentially an anonymous nerd. I'm not supposed to have fans!

samariah 03-22-2008 09:48 AM

maybe that's the appeal

Anxious 03-22-2008 09:51 AM

Sweet, I have voyeuristic appeal to an 18 year old! If it was a girl that would be creepy also I guess, but in a different way.

Tyr 03-22-2008 09:53 AM

Maybe he wants to spend the rest of his life with you, but is just too scared to ask? This is the most plausible explanation, I promise.

samariah 03-22-2008 09:53 AM

so when are you going to meet him

Anxious 03-22-2008 09:56 AM

He hasn't posted any events, which is reassuring. Maybe he's going to go to the shows I'm going to, without letting me know. If I meet him though, I'm going to put on an off-putting persona. He seems like a normal guy from his blog though. I suppose I just rule enough to have my internet webpage viewed several times a day for a week. Whatever that implies.

dei 03-22-2008 09:58 AM

What if he's a nice guy? You just made a new friend!

dei 03-22-2008 09:58 AM

Anxious, what is your last.fm?

samariah 03-22-2008 09:59 AM

maybe he will be your slave

Tyr 03-22-2008 10:01 AM

One can never have too many slaves.

From one thing to something comlpetely different; I have Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons and Fake Can Be Just as Good by Blonde Redhead. Which album should I get next?

Anxious 03-22-2008 10:02 AM

Misery is a Butterfly.

http://www.last.fm/user/Minuteflag/

I can always use some help around the plantation.

samariah 03-22-2008 10:03 AM

if you like those i would recommend In An Expression of The Inexpressible

or/and what anxious said

i just peeped at your page

Anxious 03-22-2008 10:07 AM

As long as you don't pee on it. I don't care about people viewing my page since you guys are already stalking me.

In Expression... isn't really like their last 3 albums. Its on the borderline of their edgy Sonic Youth sound and their new, Cocteau Twins based thing. If you like Unwound you'd like it though. In that record they even have Unwound's bassist.

samariah 03-22-2008 10:12 AM

what does their s/t sound like? i haven't heard anything from that

Tyr 03-22-2008 10:13 AM

I'm downloading both as we speak. I like Sonic Youth and Cocteau Twins, so I'm sure it's all good. And I've never heard Unwound, I'm ashamed to say.

Anxious 03-22-2008 10:17 AM
what does their s/t sound like? i haven't heard anything from that
I haven't listened to it in a while, but from what I remember it sounds like old Unwound/Sonic Youth.

Sarah Silverman is so hawt and funny. I only realize this now cause she's doing a show with Tim and Eric and Patton Oswald. Neat.

Nobody stalks my Last.FM :(

Anxious 03-22-2008 12:38 PM

I know a few folks.

Who might be interested. If you're interested.

Tyr 03-22-2008 12:39 PM
Nobody stalks my Last.FM :(
I do it all the time, Christian. It's just that I've perfected my stalking skills, so you never notice.

dei 03-22-2008 12:44 PM

I notice!

Anxious 03-22-2008 12:50 PM
what band are you talking about?? please let me know !
Blonde Redhead, definitley get their first 3 albums.

Their latest 3 sound like Leaves Turn Inside You mixed with the Cocteau Twins.

You damn sneaky Swedes.

Tyr 03-22-2008 12:57 PM
You damn sneaky Swedes.
Yes, claiming neutrality, but instead we conduct espionage all the time.

Time 03-22-2008 01:05 PM

I went to Crooked Beat and picked up EVOL, New Day Rising, and The Argument. I'm loaded up on new music for a while. Although I'm a bit disappointed because I've been trying to get DNOTD on CD for a while now and they didn't have it.

ATM 03-22-2008 01:07 PM

Did you try Smash as well?
