I bought Beneath the Remains 2 days ago. Really awsome.

I found one of the 3 missing Testament tracks. It's the title track. It's really good, until it goes into the worst breakdown (????????????????) ever for like 3 minutes.

Testament + breakdown = ewww

Yeah what the hell. And it's a damn good song otherwise.

yeah I was kinda hoping that the missing tracks would be amazing to pick up the slack for the rest of them, because right now, this album is really, really subpar. I expected so much more :/

Me too. Such a disappointment. I'm seeing them live like 2 days after the album comes out. Maybe the new stuff will be better live.

I kinda like the song F.E.A.R. now, but man, I've been listening to that album so much and it still is just not clicking.

Anyway, anyone else here listen to Angelripper's old side-project, Desperados? Western folk influenced thrash...it's quite interesting. Basically it sounds like M-16 era Sodom with a strong western tint. And it's got Angelripper on vocals \m/

Poor Testament. It's really just impossible to follow The Gathering. Digorgio + Lombardo + Murphy + Eric doing all the riffs not trying to sound "classic" + before cancer Chuck Billy doing heavy vox + D flat tuning = OH HOLY GOD THAT ALBUM IS FANTASTIC!

Neither did Murphy.
Tuning doesn't matter.
