Spaceman Spiff 10-29-2004 09:37 AM

i've only got 2 and a half hours left of class until my weekend begins.

nisakss 10-29-2004 09:40 AM

Hey Space Spiff, talking about weekends, this is a cool one here in Colombia, because given that Colombia is a Catholic country, we have lots of saints with lots of holidays!! and this monday is a holiday, don't know in honour of what saint, but I love him. I really do.

Spaceman Spiff 10-29-2004 09:44 AM

a need a week long weekend.
these last two weeks of school have been way too busy for me, i just need to try my hardest to stay awake during class this afternoon. i've almost fallen asleep a couple times over the last couple days.

Rollo47 10-29-2004 09:49 AM

I fell asleep in my music class twice in one day, once. While a flautist was playing.

Hey guys.

I just found an old (July) recording of me playing with my delay pedal.

It's kind of fun.

Yeah thats another great one. I also suggest Starship, the quality isnt the best but its them live and it sounds really good. A lot of thier studio stuff is almost live as in they perfermed all at once and only took 1 take sometimes. They are easily one of the most influencial bands out there.

About a week ago I decided to get a BDGT-7. The decision was influenced by my raze at work, longing for one, and Quat showing me all kinds of pics of them. I went out and got it at a local shop, everything was cool, but the next day I started to notice something was off about the neck, it just didnt feel right so I checked it out and looked closer, I noticed it was slightly curved. Simple truss rod adjust right..... WRONG, since it was a new bass I took it to the repair shop for them to do it, when they turned the rod it jammed and we heard a crack, so they took the rod out and immeditly we noticed a problem. Thier was a burr on the rod about 2 to 3 inches long that was digging into the wood. We decided to lift the fretboard (overnight process). The next day we found that the rod had actul caused a **** load of damage and even caused the forming of a crack underneath the fretboard. In the end after being defeated I returned the bass and got a refund, it was ****ty few days. I still dont know if I might get another, its gonna be some time before the place gets a new shipment.

DaveSavesTheDay 10-29-2004 02:02 PM

^^^ **** , that blows.

BTW : Any one know when LR is gunna be back?
