Well to be fair, the only reason I posted so much was because I had nothing to do, and because I'm totally mentally ill, with few bounds. :)

and man oh man do i spam.

BridgeToSolace 06-15-2006 05:54 PM
Well people could always write their FA's :(

We could do a pop punk chain letter...

You could play pop punk jeopardy...i like that one. have everyone submit topics and one person organizes questions in each topic...something like that. sort of like the trivia contest that never happened.
While good ideas, none of these will increase traffic. FAs are stupid. "Good FA, I like this band." "Good FA, I don't care for them".
Jon: You mention girls and Jared but no me? :(

I'm from late in your gen.
You are a very good user. You do some cool things. You are also not confrontational enough to breath life like Jared did. Dan helped.

As far as join date goes, yes. As far as posting goes, I was on my first haitus when you started posting in PP.

BridgeToSolace 06-15-2006 05:55 PM
but anything to be different would be good, anything that'll make people say "Man I wanna go into the PP forums today".
I refer back to my "Let Jon post pron on the forums" idea.

Yea I looked at your Drunk thread a couple of days ago. That gave me a good laugh.

Permanent Solution 06-15-2006 05:57 PM

yeah but FA's are my baby :( the jeopardy would increase traffic a little though. activity means people stop in more often.

bahhhh, how dare you say i'm not confrontational? just because i've been nice lately doesn't mean i always am...ask rissa if i'm confrontational :)

pshhh, i seem to remember you being around when i showed up here, for a breif bit at least, i think your timing's a little off.

edit: speaking of drunk, a kid just cleaned up his vomit mess in my hallway earlier today. and my parents left me a lot of liquor...many parties still to come :D

Bwa ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!

Oh man, I am on such a Batman kick right now. I've downloaded the entire animated series and in the past week I've bought four graphic novels! This summer is amazing!

Hi Vince.

nobodyblossomsforever 06-15-2006 06:02 PM

Haha. Sounds like you're gonna have a blast.

EDIT: to Vince

Permanent Solution 06-15-2006 06:02 PM

hey Joel. summer going well? my bros are both in Seattle for the month like last summer but I opted out this time around...

edit: offff course. when you have a hot tub and alcohol there's no way not to.

I would totally remember that stupid yoda avatar and all those silly numbers you had at the end of your name.

Man, I remember Jarviss too. He was awesome. And the mod who used to be named The Trooper when people were saying he was destroying the forums with all his spam (I think he's malkaya or whatever now.)

Aw, you shoulda come up, the party is literally non-stop.

And no girlfriend, right? Uh I mean...

And both you and Jon are forgetting that I am still the old man here as far as forum time.

BridgeToSolace 06-15-2006 06:06 PM

Math question for any asians or smart people around (Read: Vince).

x(x+1) + 7(x+1)

(x+1) (x+7)

How the **** is this the distributive property?

Another example:

3x(2x+1) - 4(2x+1)

(3x-4) (2x+1)

I didn't have yoda back then though, I had Omar. :p

I remember Jarviss but I was never around for The Trooper alas. I was just always around to be compared to him :(

Joel: Sure sure, but it is here too with a large, well stocked house to myself :p

Welllll... not in name no, but Gaby was over for dinner last night <_<

Jon: you have a*x plus b*x so thus you have (a+b)*x as an equivalent statement mathematically.

You need to get some girls too.

Because you distribute the numbers on the outside of the parenthesis.

Hmm...actually now that I look at that closer, I don't see how the hell you come up with what it came out as.

form 06-15-2006 06:10 PM

Vince is back :-D

sup man?

Psh, the worst ratio I've had is 1 more guy than girl and the best is like 2-3 more girls than guys :p

nahhhh, just stopping in, heading out in a short while again too...

but you know, partying, trying to get a job, all that sort of stuff, you?

Those are taken directly from my math book. I don't get it.
Jon: you have a*x plus b*x so thus you have (a+b)*x as an equivalent statement mathematically.
I understand that property.

What, in that situation, is A and B and X?

Permanent Solution 06-15-2006 06:15 PM

x(x+1) + 7(x+1)

(x+1) (x+7)

a=x, b=7, x=x+1

Another example:

3x(2x+1) - 4(2x+1)

(3x-4) (2x+1)

a=3x, b=-4, x=2x+1

oic thats cool, but too bad I have to go now, until next time

nobodyblossomsforever 06-15-2006 06:17 PM

Looking at it closer, it looks like this is what they did:

x(x+1) + 7(x+1)

(x+1) (x+7)

It appears they took the two parts that are the same, and put it on the left, then took what was on the outside and put it in parenthesis. I boldened the variables/numbers/symbols to make it a bit more noticable.

Yeah, I get now. Took me a while to figure out that they were making the things in parenthesis the same. That's what I was missing when I was trying to do the problems.

God, math finals. Ugh. And spanish on the same day! Brutal.

Permanent Solution 06-15-2006 06:26 PM

finals in mid-june is brutal period. I've been out a month. my brothers have been out a few weeks, even rissa got out like a week ago...

nobodyblossomsforever 06-15-2006 06:27 PM

I've been out since mid-May.

BridgeToSolace 06-15-2006 06:28 PM

Yeah, **** you.

Pazz 06-15-2006 06:30 PM

VINCE!!!!!! OMG HE'S BACK!!!!!!

Are you staying?

BridgeToSolace 06-15-2006 06:30 PM

Only until he finds something else to do.

Obviously.

Pazz 06-15-2006 06:31 PM

Okay, so he is here to stay.

So Vince, I'm going to guess you never found a job.

Permanent Solution 06-15-2006 06:31 PM

Jon: nou

Matt: nay, I'm actually heading out now I think. I may return later if no one calls me back but we'll see.

haha, I have a job..sorta. I'm working sat, sun and mon at the least...hopefully other shifts too.

adios all, see you...whenever <_<

Oh alright Vince. You better come back this weekend on late next week. School is almost over and I want to do what we did back in February and stay up really late and post, I can get Brandon to come too.
