i've never been able to get a ps1 emulator to work its a huge pain in the ass

best head to head fighter: sf alpha 2 gold or sf alpha 3
best rpg: ff7 or 9
best beat em up: turtles in time
best platformer: yoshi's island or sonic 2
best tag team fighter: marvel vs capcom 3
best adventure: a link to the past or super metroid or symphony of the night
best fps: none they all suck
best stealth: mgs
best run n gun: gunstar heroes

tbh fps are probably my least favorite genre and the ones I do like are the cinematic story driven ones (half life and campaign for halo and so forth)

only halo game worth even mentioning is reach all the other ones totally blow dick

There are awesome FPSs but I prefer other genres.

i think they're the main reason along with wii sports esqe casual games that the videogame industry has been so bad lately

character: space marine or WWII soldier
graphics: dark and bloom
gameplay: point gun, shoot, repeat

they're all the same

i like RE4 but that's third person

you said halo campaign, they all suck except for reach

well I won't disagree that all these military style shooters don't interest me too much

but [I]Quake, Doom, Unreal Tournament, Half-Life[/I] etc. all games I have fond memories of

best genres:

jrpg
2d side scrolling adventure (super metroid, ALttP, SotN)
SNES/Genesis era platformers
2d fighter
