haha, hey, give the one armed guy some credit, its not particularty easy to pull off a drum roll with - which he can do.

DVG.
Hey do you guys like Def Lepard?

He actually had electronic drums that could be activated with his foot. So if he wanted a drum roll, or fill, or even solo...he could just press buttons with his feet. That more than makes up the lack of an arm. I actually don't mind his drumming though, my brother always plays one of his songs on drums and it's very catchy.

What does everyone think of Yes?

Take your pick of Like/Dislike/Who the Hell is that?

I'm just curious because I am on the biggest Yes kick. I just bought their '73 2-disc "Tales From Topographic Oceans", and I have been listening for near an hour and am still on track 3. And dammit, I love it.

pigonthewing82 01-31-2005 01:53 PM

who in here has heard the woodstock cd. imo its the best classic rock live album. i think you really havent fully expirenced classic rock till youve heard it

I love Yes, Fragile and The Yes Album are both classic.

And yesterday I got Widespread Panic-Ball, I just started listening to it and it's quite good. Dave Schools is such a great bassist.

Phantasm 01-31-2005 03:52 PM

i saw yes in concert a few years ago. i was a little disappointed.

I love that cover.

Alessandro 01-31-2005 04:03 PM

Are there any Traffic fans in here? I think they´re an underrated band, they have many different and cool songs, but most of people don´t even know that Traffic ever existed... They´re one of my favorites classic rock bands.

Yeah everybody has heard "Dear Mr Fantasy" wether they know it or not. I've never really gotten into them though.

Woodstock 01-31-2005 04:49 PM

I didn't like CSN's cover of Blackbird. I think that's an uncoverable song.

Against Miik! 01-31-2005 04:59 PM

I like it. Maybe not better, but its still a good version.

xxxRoCkJuNkiExxx 01-31-2005 05:00 PM

I might be mistaken, but didn't traffic's drummer die earlier this morning/yesterday?

Why does everything have to be an extreme? Can't you dislike a band or like them a little?

Lucky0889 01-31-2005 06:52 PM

Is U2 classic rock.. me confused

BludgeonySteve 01-31-2005 06:56 PM

I'd say so. Or atleast they're very close to it.

Johnny B. Good 01-31-2005 06:58 PM

U2 is awesome

jpj 01-31-2005 07:00 PM

Does anyone else get tears of joy when they listen to Jack Cassady?
Why does everything have to be an extreme? Can't you dislike a band or like them a little?
When I say "like" or "hate", I use broad terms. I was in a rush and didn't feel like elaborating any further.
