Niall i'm having trouble tremelo picking 4 notes on a string really fast and moving it up

it's like downpick up-pick downpick up-pick but I can't seem to economise the movement to make a clean movement to the next string what do I do

I can easily get the motion moving downwards

(*The Sacred Chao*) 03-18-2012 08:13 PM
no it is not

it is not fucking mechanical

it would be on its way to being respectable if it was mechanical
fingers what do you think of my guitarring

fingers mccoy 03-18-2012 08:13 PM

if you're calling it tremolo picking it's probably the whole technique that is off

but yeah generally people find it easier to come into a new string from the outside

(*The Sacred Chao*) 03-18-2012 10:33 PM

lets do an interview starting with this post

why did you choose the name pink and yellow and what significance does it have

Haz 03-18-2012 10:35 PM

lol

SheenaShiva 03-18-2012 10:37 PM

I think I originally wanted to name it Pink, but since that was taken I added my yellow, which had been my favorite color since hearing the song She Brings The Rain by Can. I also had a pink and yellow pipe at the time.

(*The Sacred Chao*) 03-18-2012 10:39 PM

Ooooh, Interesting, So who took the name Pink?

Second off, who is your album artwork credited to?

SheenaShiva 03-18-2012 10:45 PM

Pink's a singer I've been listening to since her first album, she's had a lot of hits and remains an inspiration to me.

I make all the album art myself in mspaint, usually pasting pictures of random girls I don't know but I'm friends with the two girls in this one. They don't know they're on the album cover.

(*The Sacred Chao*) 03-18-2012 10:48 PM

Very cool Sounding!

Good luck to Pink (we at Sputnikmusic haven't heard of her ;-). Wow! Do you think they will be your groupies when they eventually find out through the media hype that they are starring on pink and yellows album sleeve-cover?

Also, does religion or electricity play a factor in your album titled, om?

The one in the hooded jacket has been heavily supportive of my musical endeavors and would make a perfect awkward pop groupie.

The title Om was inspired by interest in Eastern philosophies and Hinduism and particular. At the time of writing some of these songs the Om symbol seemed to be relevant to a lot of stuff that was going on.

can you play any Justin King yet? seriously would be sick, I don't have the action on my Takamine for that style of playing though

adbforever 03-22-2012 05:43 PM

luc give me a loseless file and I'll mix and master your song better

no I'm not trolling

publicastration 03-22-2012 05:43 PM

adbforever 03-22-2012 05:44 PM

witchxrapist 03-22-2012 05:45 PM

oh jesus christ

HighandDriving 03-22-2012 05:45 PM

Luc is prob like Mappy: They have no control over the band's recording process, except for their specific input, and don't warrant holding onto the files.

witchxrapist 03-22-2012 05:45 PM

ethan this is cool

adbforever 03-22-2012 05:46 PM
Luc is prob like Mappy: They have no control over the band's recording process, except for their specific input, and don't warrant holding onto the files.
HighandDriving 03-22-2012 05:47 PM

Is this real life??!?!?!?!?!?!?

adbforever 03-22-2012 05:52 PM

it means you're betas in your own band

but yeah luc my offer will stand for a few days, if you can get me a loseless track of that I can make it sound anywhere from a bit better to a lot better, it I'll have to see what I can do

if you just want to laugh then fine, idgaf

witchxrapist 03-22-2012 05:58 PM

yes

btw, your recordings are flat out bad

adbforever 03-22-2012 06:02 PM

oh, please tell me which songs are flat out bad. Oh, wait...you haven't heard any songs of mine where I mixed/mastered them.

witchxrapist 03-22-2012 06:02 PM

everything you've ever posted sucks

adbforever 03-22-2012 06:07 PM

that's before i learned anything how to mix and master, nice try. I'm still not great, but I can make luc's song sound better

just wait fat vegan, I'll have plenty of self produced music out this year

witchxrapist 03-22-2012 06:07 PM

HighandDriving 03-22-2012 07:50 PM

Oh man that's funny.

But being straight-up, I'm really impressed. I already listened to the album all the way through once and now I'm listening again.

rasputin 03-22-2012 08:26 PM
