Just listening to The Postman Syndrome for the first time in a while. This is really solid and unconventional ****. Lots of artsy fartsy rock **** but with solid metalcore breaks and yeah good stuff.

You know who kinda sucks? Haste The Day.

My friend has tried to make me like the postman syndrome like 5 times but every time I think they are really bland, even with the unconventional ****.

I dont find Terraforming bland at all really. Well, it has some pretty derivative parts but I like it on the whole.

I don't like MUCH metalcore, but All Shall Perish, Unearth, All That Remains, Becoming the Archetype, etc have really grown on me. Overcast and Shai Hulud are two of my faves.

I'm digging the more "old school" "hxc" bands, like Wintch Mob and On A Warpath, and crossover bands like All Out War.

well i DO like MUCH metalcore... ATR, BTA, and Unearth are good. All Out War is pretty good too. but metalcore is just more of my thing.

Bolded bands in that first paragraph are really barely metalcore, ASP especially. I love 'em all though.

Shai Hulud have been dominating on my iPod lately, mostly just their covers though. I like their pre-That Within Blood Ill-Tempered stuff more I think.
