Im straight edge as shit. No drugs, no sex, and, most disappointingly, no murder.
I'm not straight edge, but I don't drink, do drugs, or have sex. :thumb:

He stereotypes alot...on stupid trivial things as well.

Last night he did it to me, just because I said I prefer Jager over most alcohol and certainly Vodka and milk mix. With that said, he came to the conclusion that I am some lightweight pussynoob in/to the drinking department of my life.
I'd be straight edge...but I don't believe in following a set of rules. In fact, I still can't understand why punkers love sxe. It's just more rules to follow and conform to. I don't do drugs or sex or anything though.
People always accuse me of being Straight Edge when I say I dont drink/smoke. I dont do drugs because I dont want to, not to be in some "movement."
The lame blob of skin upstairs otherwise known as my brother is tobacco's bitch.
Whatever happened to that guy?

Dancin' Man 04-14-2005 07:53 PM

Yeah, it was something in there. The most terrible thing I've ever done to my body was drinking 2 Redbull + vodkas in the ratio of 3 shots to a Red Bull and then getting really stoned. I was out before 8 PM. I'll never do that again. It was unfun

You mean "Mr. Too Cool for the Forums"?

:upset:

Illmatic 04-14-2005 07:53 PM

I smoke weed from time to time, and I drink (but not to get drunk). I used to smoke but I quit a few months ago at my girlfriend's behest.

Right. That's how I see it in a nutshell. I also don't preach it like so many sxe kids do. Except for cigarettes. Stupidist habit ever.
Whatever happened to that guy?
He favors sleeping/Halo 2 over mx.

You can sort of say he sold out. He sold me his guitar, and he sold away his amp. So now he only has an acoustic(which he barely plays).

I don't mind not being able to hold a lot of alcohol. I'm cheap though so that is why.

Tobacco is super lame. My dad smokes but now he only does it outside away from the family which is nice.

Sex. I wish I got more of it. Hopefully tomorrow night for those of you who read my schedule for the next 2 days.

Illmatic 04-14-2005 07:55 PM

What's the deal with Gilmour's brother?

EDIT: So I see

Yeah, but I don't even participate in ultra-violent beatings, ritualistic rape, satan worship, or recreational cutting. How am I supposed how fun without those?

Being a lightweight is economically beneficial.

Well in high school being straight edge is less conformity then doing it because everybody does it just to be cool. I mean there are some exeptions, I mean when I do it its usally be myself, or with my cousin, so I don't see how thats me doing it just to be cool as much as just to chill and relax.

Ha! I didn't actually mean I was straiht edge, I just don't participate in any illegal drugs, or drinking or sex. It's not because I'm part of a group or osmething, but simply because I've never had the desire to, and I really have seen first hand the way it can mess people up.

I have solid alcohol resistence, so when I'm old enough to go to bars it's going to cost me more :upset:

I used to be into tobacco but I just kind of phased it out. Quitting wasn't as big a deal for me as it was for some people.

And I like sex.

The more you can drink, the more games you can play, and then the next morning you can make fun of other people that got drunker than you.

Dancin' Man 04-14-2005 08:02 PM

Yeah, I hang out with huge football player/body builder steroid junkie guys so it's always clear that I am the least tough and the one who relies most on his head so being a light weight doesn't phase me at all. I just make sure to stay the **** away when they get drunk and pissy.

My mam and dad both smoker fairly heavily for the first 12 years or so of my life. My mam stopped after that (which was nicely done), but my dad still smokes heavily to this day, despite being told by a doctor that he has to stop. So I've been dead set against it pretty much all my life. I don't nag people to stop though, unless I'm close enough to really care.

For some reason though, my sister has started.

 Oh yes the best reason to do anything right there.

Dancin' Man 04-14-2005 08:04 PM

I can't wait till I move out. I hate my brother but he's younger than me. I graduate next year so it's coming. My sister moved out when I was like 8 so she and I never grew to hate each other.

magicbus 04-14-2005 08:05 PM
To be honest, I cant wait till he moves out.
 I bet that's true, but I don't live with him.

I'm moving out in the fall. Anyone wanna room with me?

lunch998 04-14-2005 08:05 PM

My bro is five years older than me, so we were never close enough to each other to fight and hate each other. We get along really well.

I don't nag people because it's there choice. My dad has actually quit twice in his life for about a year each time but he just starts up again. He works his *** off though so I don't blame him for having a hard time quitting. It's just sad.

I want my brother to get a taste of the real world and grow the hell up. He is gonna be out of high school in about a month, and he still gets into bitch fights with my parents all the time.

Kage 04-14-2005 08:06 PM

Tobacco is such a stupid thing. There's no question...if you smoke for long enough, you will have problems.

Dancin' Man 04-14-2005 08:06 PM
My bro is five years older than me, so we were never close enough to each other to fight and hate each other. We get along really well.
Same here except my sister is 7.5 years older. I'm going to Germany to visit her actually. Did that 2 years ago when she was in Mexico. She has had a very cool life in these first 24 years.

lunch998 04-14-2005 08:07 PM

I used to think smoking was the most annoying thing in the world. Now some of my friends do it, but I don't really care. They hear enough of the "smoking is bad" propaganda already.

Most of my friends don't smoke though, so it's cool.

CemetaryGates9 04-14-2005 08:07 PM

Hey, can somebody upload Vermillion 2 by Slipknot for me? I wanna hear it to see if it sucks as much as I think it will.

RiceMonster 04-14-2005 08:07 PM

Neither of my parents smoke. They don't even drink cofee, but they do drink (alcohol) every now and then, only on get togethers and such.

Illmatic 04-14-2005 08:08 PM

Dammit I wish I had siblings

My cousins weren't the same...I saw them over school breaks and summer vacations, but that's just not the same.

Thankfully I will have a half-brother or sister, even if he/she will be 19 years younger.
